What degree (s) do you currently have?

I like to drink. When I drink I drink a lot. If I'm at an open bar I'm not going to worry about the planet. I'm going to be drinking and having a good time.

I was just trying to give you some advice

I was drinking that entire night without any breaks. In fact, I drank a STUPID and regrettable amount of alcohol that night. My wife's phone went low on battery and I went to our Caddy and plugged it into the car charger and just hung out there for a while. That was the situation every time I posted that night. Every time I did that, I took at least 2-3 beers with me to drink in the Caddy.

CP was like my smoke break that night...since I don't smoke. And good gosh was my wife ever getting pissed at me for periodically leaving the reception that night...she thought I was coming across as stuck up. Bloody hell, though... it just wasn't my type of people who I like to hang out with in attendance. It was making me anxious, being there.

Thanks for the advice, bud.

Just stating that being 5 years out from something might make you feel fuzzy about being something, but he does have a lot of work to do and it won't be easy.

And....you're welcome.

I really am. I'm running a good 6 miles a week. I'm consistently at 150, pacemaker is pacing, cholesterol is virtually nil, bp is consistently 120/70.

My problem was one of congenital flaw, it wasn't due to abuse. The flaw got fixed.

Still lame to leave a party to go sit in the car to converse with us idiots.

Well if teaching is your main call, then you have no reason to do anything but a PhD! I was asked straight out of graduate school to go into the PhD program. I decided I wanted to make some money NOW, lol.

Prior to going back to school I worked for dominos, eureka pizza, etc. in the role of General Manager and district manager. Good money shitty hours, got custody of my son and decided a more family conducive life would be acceptable. In short, instead of being content sitting on my ass, I went for broke.

You can't start talking shit about the doctor you're going to be before you get your BA...

In all seriousness, though, congrats on the health situation. That shit's scary. All the best.
