I read that while it may only take 2 years or so for a Master's, PhD Psychology programs can take anywhere from 4-8 years! And I have heard that the salary difference between a Master's and PhD in that field isn't much unless you get a top level job which takes years to work into.
And the GRE is the biggest waste of time ever created. ROFL
