Raising Cains is my fave chicken currently

I'm like you and have to drive 40 miles for a Popeyes so I've been checking them out. McD's is junk.

Reminds me, sucked and sucked HARD when they cancelled Strange Angel.

Went there once. Much like Chick-Fil-A, it's good, but it ain't Popeyes.

Ironically, the local Popeyes, Chick-Fil-A and Raising Cain are all within 200 yards of each other. And there's a KFC maybe half a mile up the street.

Still can't get into fast-food chicken. Few foods have such a drop off in quality so fast, when it goes from hot and tasty to cold and greasy in like a minute.

But all of them have the best sides, compared to fries and pies at hamburger joints.

If I'm having chicken, I'm going to Southern for cluckin' hot Nashville style. That shit is life-changing. But they cook everything for fresh consumption, so they've been closed since Sept.
