The only reason terrible refs like Hochuli and Clete Blakeman get playoff games is because they’re the league’s top men at steering games.

The league wants Mahomes-Watson-Jackson to be a thing.

It’s hard to make that a real rivalry if Mahomes consistently beats them both.

That's the playoffs in general. And it happens every year. PI's, holds etc in general seem to go way down.

Of course i have no numbers to back that up so i could be totally wrong, just what i believe i've observed.

Mahomes just isn't black enough if they want Black on Black QBs. It's a viable theory. The NFL would eat it up.
