Dickinson dominating, give him the ball

This team is absolutely incapable of closing a half (or a game) whatsoever

There's a real possibility Dickinson is gonna go for 40 in this game if they don't start doubling him and that we're gonna lose anyway despite that
|
Never should have bet on these bums.
-3.5 is gonna be a sweat because reasons |
Not the regular season we wanted obviously but nice to finally make the plays we needed down the stretch. At least we kept one good streak going to next year.
|
Hunter sucks. Couldn’t even score 40 on senior night.
|
Phew. Thank you!
RCJH! |
Nice to see the real KU guys have good games on their final nights in Mayo, Juan and KJ. Jayhawk blood.

So check me on this... if I have this right, we are likely going to be the 6 seed in the Big 12 tourney, right? Which would mean we are likely playing the winner of either Utah/K-State against Okie State? Amirite?

Guy is a complete chode. I only care about those who have Jayhawk blood since we have no chance to win a championship I just hope those guys play well. |
Just ran scenarios and it appears to be as follows:
If Houston beats Baylor and BYU beats Utah tonight (likely), KU is the #6 seed and plays the winner of Utah (11) and UCF (14) If Houston beats Baylor and Utah beats BYU, KU is the #6 seed and plays the winner of KSU (11) and UCF (14). If Baylor beats Houston, KU is the #7 seed and plays the winner of TCU (10) and ASU (15). |

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...th-player-year Frank Mason III wins Naismith POY GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Kansas guard Frank Mason III has won the James A. Naismith Trophy as the top college basketball player. The award presented by the Atlanta Tipoff Club was announced Sunday in Arizona near the site of the Final Four. Mason adds to his awards haul with the honor, having already won Associated Press player of the year on Thursday. Mason beat out Lonzo Ball of UCLA, Josh Hart of Villanova and Caleb Swanigan of Purdue in voting by a panel of journalists, current and former coaches, conference commissioners and former Naismith winners. Voting was conducted during the NCAA tournament. Mason says winning the award with Naismith's name on it brings his experience full circle because Naismith invented the game and was the first coach at Kansas. Kansas coach Bill Self tweeted congratulations to Mason III after the announcement. Mason in turn tweeted his gratitude for everything he's learned from Self. Mason led the Big 12 in scoring and averaged 20.9 points. The Jayhawks were eliminated in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament by Oregon. |

And despite all the crap I've said about him this year, KJ has been good the past 5 games or so. Too bad he couldn't play like that every game. |

I will say that if I was a #1 or #2 seed in the tourney, I would hate the committee for making us a 7/8 seed. We have the seed resume profile of a 6 and the talent level of a team much higher than that. |

Looks like Kansas will play the winner between Utah and UCF on Wednesday at 8:30 Central. If we win Wednesday, we will play Arizona again on Thursday.

Here's what I got:
Wed: Iowa State > Oklahoma State TCU > West Virginia Baylor > K-State Kansas > Utah Thursday: Iowa State > BYU Houston > TCU Texas Tech > Baylor Kansas > Arizona KU > Houston in the final LFG@^@$!$!!!! Or...KU gets tossed by Utah in their first game :( |

Worst Jayhawks ever
Hunter Dickinson Dedric Lawson Naadir Tharpe Charlie Moore AJ Storr Nick Timberlake Holy shit how bad would that be as a team. Just awful. |
This will come as a surprise to the people who think this is the worst KU team they’ve ever seen…
KU’s efficiency rating on Torvik is higher than 7 of the last 12 KU teams. Only teams that were higher were the 16-18 teams that went to three straight elite 8s and a final four, and of course 2020 and ‘22. And their rating has been much higher since Bill declared it a “new season.” |

I know. Difficult concept to grasp. As it is it may work out because it has hid Bidunga. I think he will be back unless he pulls a Cole Aldrich in the NCAAs. |
Dickinson is a disgrace. Should not be able to wear the Crimson and Blue. Two of the worst Bill Self teams in a row and he is the key cog.
He should be ashamed he brought this sadness factory upon us. I cannot wait until next year where that hollow stat padding shithead is gone and we have a real basketball team again. I hope he eats a wangburger and has food poisoning for weeks. |

I’d probably try to walk that one back too. I like Bidunga’s potential, but it’s far from guaranteed that he’s ever at Dickinson’s level. Some of you act like you’ve never seen a player block a shot or flush a lob before. He’ll need to develop a bit more than that to be a star, and playing more minutes this year wasn’t going to magically give him post moves or shooting ability. Or improve his hands. |
