Or do I just want to send 4 guys deep every play? Maybe this is why I am not an OC. |
No on Crabtree.
He's done. |
Lol Vea is a pipe dream. He’s going too 15. Payne is also extremely unlikely.
Taven Bryan, Maurice Hurst, Harrison Phillips, Tim Settle, Nathan Shepherd, R.J. McIntosh, Rasheem Green, B.J. Hill, Trenton Phillips, Justin Jones, Andrew Brown, Derrick Nnadi, Deadrin Senat, Kendrick Norton That is the long list of IDL that we can realistically get either through trade, staying at 54, or waiting till the 3rd/4th. This class is stacked. I’m very confident Veach will get one or maybe even two of these guys. |
You guys are on meth if you think they can land Vea
|

Just stating in general, i'd rather have Payne than Vea. |

Oakland making defensive moves now with Gilchrist and Whitehead
|
The Raiders moves are a little meh. But they're paying their QB big money and are getting ready to have to pay Mack.
|
This is a stacked NT class with viable options from start to finish.
We can land a fine starter Day 3 if we wanted to. No reason to freak out and move high for a fatty. Settle will be in our range, or we can go after Frazier or Norton later on and BJ Hill will be around. |

Why would Vea be a waste? He could be like a young Poe |

Yeah, Jordy is done too.
|
I don’t even want him. But to say he’s done isn’t correct
|
He had 600 yards and 8 TDs with a hurt Carr. He’s not done. He’s not what he once was but he’s not done.
|
I'd like the chiefs to target Tim settle in the draft. I like his ability to penetrate. maybe not the fastest guy in the world, but strikes me as someone who could offer more than simply a run stopping nose.
|
Keep an eye on Tyrann Mathieu and the Chiefs.
Just reported by Benjamin allbright |
This is the guy who got me my info bout Watkins before free agency very reliable source
Could honey badger be coming to KC |
God I wish Clark would do something about our locker room. Update the building for the fans but leave the locker room looking like the 1970’s.
I don’t get it |
Veach already said we aren’t getting Matthieu.

Maybe Mathieu overestimated his market and circled back. Maybe the DL market is so overpriced, that they changed their approach and re-configured numbers. We will see. |
Local news saying Crabs is major cancer in locker room. Took himself out of multiple games last year. Some unnamed players saying “good riddance”

Just reporting what I'm seein Benjamin Allbright is pretty accurate in his reporting. So I trust his info
|
The thing bout the honey badger is he is a playmaker he's short injury prone whatever the guy makes plays. Did in high school, LSU and NFL. So who is to say he can't with us. This team with loss of peters need a play maker I'm all for him coming here.

Was reply he gave someone |
No matter what we do this defense would have been far better WITH Marcus Peters
|
Veach essentially said they would like him but didn’t seem like they could make it fit
|
I think they are working on that as we speak money can always be moved around to make things work anything is possible

Another addition to the Bears QB room.
Tyler Bray is set to agree to terms with the Chicago Bears, per source. @gmfb @nflnetwork @NFL |
Tyler Bray's career with the Chiefs ends with an illustrious performance for the ages in Denver. LMAO
|
Good now Reid can bring in another developmental guy
|
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Raiders are "in discussions" with free agent CB Rashaan Melvin.
The Raiders are running low on corners after letting each of T.J. Carrie, Sean Smith and David Amerson walk, and Melvin is one of the best players remaining in the picked-over corner market. A late-bloomer, 28-year-old Melvin is coming off a strong year in Indianapolis, though he missed six games with injury. |
$14m cap, but what, $5m on draft picks and go into the season with a few mil? Not 100% sure this is enough for another big signing, probably a couple medium ones.

That shit better be for vet minimum.

Maybe they’re looking for a guy they can cut and sign 10x during the season again?
|
maybe they're looking to trade Ware
|
Sign Rawls and trade Ware for a draft pick
|
Trading Ware makes a lot of sense. He’s coming off of injury, but was a top back in the league before, and a guy that is a receiving threat to boot. If the chiefs can prove he’s healthy, he could carry some decent value.

Eric Reid may be right. But literally no safeties have signed. The entire safety market is in a standstill. Is the Chiefs rookie cap even 5 million without a first rounder?
Also hopefully the stagnant safety market helps the Chiefs get a good player cheap. |
He's probably an upgrade over fan favorite west.. dude was great his first season for a back up and literally has been underwhelming since. I may be in the minority but I feel like he's gotten less explosive.

If kc wants to move Ware and sign Rawls I'd have to think it's because they don't like how similar the styles of ware and hunt are. Otherwise I don't know why they would do it. |
I don't know why you would want two different types of RBs in this offense. It'd be a benefit to have both Ware and Hunt back there because you could rotate them out and it wouldn't show what you're trying to do on offense.

Good point regarding the cap. We have more space than we think.

I want to get this out of the way right now, the draft doesn't cost 4 to 5 mil against the cap. Article says MCL and PCL. Rapaport tweeted that it is PCL and LCL. Either way it sounds like multiple ligaments got torn. Not good for his recovery. He may not have any real value at this point. He will probably have to prove himself again to have any value. |
