Could we use/want Crabtree?

Or do I just want to send 4 guys deep every play? Maybe this is why I am not an OC.

O.city 03-15-2018 07:16 PM

No on Crabtree.

He's done.

staylor26 03-15-2018 07:17 PM

Lol Vea is a pipe dream. He’s going too 15. Payne is also extremely unlikely.

Taven Bryan, Maurice Hurst, Harrison Phillips, Tim Settle, Nathan Shepherd, R.J. McIntosh, Rasheem Green, B.J. Hill, Trenton Phillips, Justin Jones, Andrew Brown, Derrick Nnadi, Deadrin Senat, Kendrick Norton

That is the long list of IDL that we can realistically get either through trade, staying at 54, or waiting till the 3rd/4th.

This class is stacked. I’m very confident Veach will get one or maybe even two of these guys.

BryanBusby 03-15-2018 07:18 PM

You guys are on meth if you think they can land Vea

Unless they can get up to the end up the first round, they can't get any of the big 3.

Just stating in general, i'd rather have Payne than Vea.

Just bring in Maclin if you absolutely have to have a veteran WR, which we really don't need.

Yeah, only place I might bring in a vet is at LG. Atleast an older vet.

Oakland making defensive moves now with Gilchrist and Whitehead

O.city 03-15-2018 07:22 PM

The Raiders moves are a little meh. But they're paying their QB big money and are getting ready to have to pay Mack.

BryanBusby 03-15-2018 07:23 PM

This is a stacked NT class with viable options from start to finish.

We can land a fine starter Day 3 if we wanted to. No reason to freak out and move high for a fatty.

Settle will be in our range, or we can go after Frazier or Norton later on and BJ Hill will be around.

One of our biggest problems last year was the pass rush. Look at how everything changed when Chris Jones left the game in the playoffs?

If we are going to score a bunch of points next year, we need to load up on pass rushers.

Look for another version of Chris Jones, especially since it’s a deep DB draft.

I give a solution to not get gashed up the ****ing middle which you bitched and cried about today. So now you say it’s the pass rush. News flash. This WHOLE defense needs fixed

Why would Vea be a waste? He could be like a young Poe

You could if Vea is like Poe and blows the middle of the OL up and wrecks shit. I’m say move up if he slips. Not trade into the top 15

He had 600 yards and 8 TDs with a hurt Carr. He’s not done. He’s not what he once was but he’s not done.

Chiefs=Champions 03-15-2018 07:35 PM

I'd like the chiefs to target Tim settle in the draft. I like his ability to penetrate. maybe not the fastest guy in the world, but strikes me as someone who could offer more than simply a run stopping nose.

Not outright he didn’t.
Maybe Mathieu overestimated his market and circled back. Maybe the DL market is so overpriced, that they changed their approach and re-configured numbers.

We will see.

Lol Id rather we sign a top CB and not a safety but if Veach was to pull this off, you are looking at going deep in the playoffs next season.

Just reporting what I'm seein Benjamin Allbright is pretty accurate in his reporting. So I trust his info

chiefscafan 03-15-2018 08:34 PM

The thing bout the honey badger is he is a playmaker he's short injury prone whatever the guy makes plays. Did in high school, LSU and NFL. So who is to say he can't with us. This team with loss of peters need a play maker I'm all for him coming here.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Raiders are "in discussions" with free agent CB Rashaan Melvin.

The Raiders are running low on corners after letting each of T.J. Carrie, Sean Smith and David Amerson walk, and Melvin is one of the best players remaining in the picked-over corner market. A late-bloomer, 28-year-old Melvin is coming off a strong year in Indianapolis, though he missed six games with injury.

Trading Ware makes a lot of sense. He’s coming off of injury, but was a top back in the league before, and a guy that is a receiving threat to boot. If the chiefs can prove he’s healthy, he could carry some decent value.

Is the Chiefs rookie cap even 5 million without a first rounder?

Also hopefully the stagnant safety market helps the Chiefs get a good player cheap.

Someone made a good point on Twitter. Those rookie salaries are going to just replace the bottom part of the roster right now really, so the cap space isn’t all that much different.

Depends on the return kc is looking for. If you want little return, sure, trade West. If you actually want something, trade Ware.

If kc wants to move Ware and sign Rawls I'd have to think it's because they don't like how similar the styles of ware and hunt are. Otherwise I don't know why they would do it.

The Franchise 03-16-2018 09:16 AM

I don't know why you would want two different types of RBs in this offense. It'd be a benefit to have both Ware and Hunt back there because you could rotate them out and it wouldn't show what you're trying to do on offense.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-16-2018 09:18 AM

Either way it sounds like multiple ligaments got torn. Not good for his recovery. He may not have any real value at this point. He will probably have to prove himself again to have any value.
