It’s possible he wanted out at that point or knew it was going to be his last year in KC.

Yeah, I’m convinced this didn’t happen solely because of the Adams deal.

Maybe but he sure was quiet before the deal was done.

So which is it?

The Chiefs shouldn't look at Day 3/5th round picks as low probability for impact/success?

Or Cornell Powell, despite being the Chiefs only WR acquisition last offseason after losing Sammy Watkins was not expected to be anything more than a Practice Squad player because he was a 5th round pick?

Homers trying to have it both ways... interesting. ROFL

You should log off and spend some time researching the difference between landing with a lottery selection and expecting to land a surefire starter. You clearly can't tell the difference or points that people are making and it's embarrassing.

Eh. Thinking too hard on this.

He wanted to be the highest paid WR and has a right to be paid like so. The Chiefs didn't want to do it. Nothing more or less to it.

Seems more like Veach had an idea on what he was wanted to spend and Hill wanted more.

The Chiefs fans stood by him.

Hill bailed on both for money at the first chance.

**** him.

LMAO he signed a team friendly deal a few years ago.

3 starters with only 6 picks. None in the first round.

Damn shame we were so shitty at the WR position last year we only made it to the AFCCG.

ROFL

What does that have to do with the Chiefs failing to upgrade their WR position last offseason and now having faith that they can get it right this offseason when the stakes are much higher without Tyreek?

And if you think that the struggles of the Chiefs non-Tyreek WR's didn't impact the second half collapse in the AFC Championship Game then you weren't watching the game.

DRob in OT anyone?

His contract saddled the Chiefs with the highest cap hit of any WR in the league for 2022 and is a big reason why he was traded.

This idea that he did the Chiefs a huge favor with his last contract is a ****ing myth. The only thing the Chiefs got with his last contract was the precise thing that happened today - him leaving because he wanted to break the bank.

Because he had no ****ing choice because of the Crystal shit.

Iowanian 03-23-2022 01:41 PM

And what did he do this week?

a couple of years ago, most teams wouldn't have touched him because of the allegations at the time. He didn't have a shit load of choices.

I think he always targeted this year to go after the money and be paid. He signed at a discount due to personal reasons. He is cashing in.

The bad thing is the Chiefs thought and they were in a position to sign him until he saw Davante's contract and then everything fell apart with the Chiefs. Guess that is a added bonus for the Raiders in over paying on Davante.

He kind of had some off the field shit going on at that time. I’m not for bashing Hill but it’s not like the Chiefs have ****ed him over at any point in his career so far.

As the Watson deal shows....he didn't have to.

This is just so depressing.

There's virtually zero chance we're getting a player as good as Hill with any of those picks.

I get the financial side of things but there's no sugarcoating it. The Chiefs got much worse today.
