Taking an alcohol break. It's good to do every once in a while.

Always good. I sometimes go weeks without a touch of alcohol.

I don't drink during the week at all unless there's a social outing which is pretty rare. I really only have a few drinks on the weekend too if we are staying home. Unless we have a pool party....those things tend to make me lose count of what's happening.

Drink after work tonight. An authentic Margarita. Really simple. Juice from 1-2 limes, 2 oz tequila and 1 oz triple sec. Pour over ice.

Sometimes nothing but a marg will do. I swap out that triple sec for Grand Marnier. Or sometimes agave nectar.

Agreed on the Grand Marnier. I don't always have it because it's so expensive.

And yes on the Margs, as long as it's made correctly. Everyone seems to think it needs some crappy Margarita Mix. A good margarita shouldn't need any of that sugary bullshit!

I really, really miss Canada Dry's Collins mix they used to make but stopped producing. I loved drinking those mixed with vodka in the summertime on a hot day.

I cannot get a good Vodka Collins anywhere, always too sweet.

Anyone know a great Collins mix or have a sure fire recipe?
