There’s no true “dominant” buzzsaw at the top this year (2012 Kentucky, 2018 Nova, etc). This year would be as good a year as any for you all to do it.

I'd use 2021 Gonzaga and Baylor as examples of "buzzsaws" before 2018 Villanova, who were clearly head and shoulders above everyone else. 2021 Gonzaga was just as dominant as 2015 Kentucky.

This year, I think, as of now, Purdue, Houston, and Alabama are interchangeable with each other in terms of play.

Tournament's a crap shoot, though, and involves some luck and how regions are structured. KSU probably has as good of a chance of anyone aside from those 3 to make noise.

Edit: Houston just lost at home to Temple. Guess there's still Purdue and Alabama. LMAO

I completely agree here. I think in this conference if you finish 4th you’ll still get a great seed. And that gives you a pretty decent chance to survive and advance.

I went high school with two kids whose father played on the 51 FF team that lost to Kentucky. He had so many great photos and memorabilia.

Ernie Barrett got hurt in the FF semifinal. Messed up his shoulder so bad he couldn’t lift it above his head. Said it cost them the game. Lost by 10, so who knows? He really disliked Kentucky.
He talked a lot about the advantage they had in that building. Was just a great guy to chat with.

Would not bother me if the cats would knock down a few FT’s.

Sometimes this team plays kinda out of control. That was a poor offensive possession where Ke turned it over. The drive\dish is just waiting to be taken.

I get why, they're trying to break the zone with brute force. But the adjustment needed to be made a while ago to do it with more movement than force.

So, I’m in Merrillville Indiana tonight and after getting back to the hotel had a few drinks with the guy I’m working with in the lobby bar. I did not at all expect the hotel to have ESPNU, and the tv at the bar was replaying the Chiefs Jags game from Saturday, which I saw in person, but the tv version is always different, and we were talking any way, so I never bothered asking. Just got back up the room and started channel surfing and low and behold - I’m watching the end of this game.

Got to do a better job on rebounding. That, taking care of the ball, and missed FT's really dictated the game.

Both of those issues have been bad for 3 games. But they were able to pull those out.
