Yes, it probably has a lot to do with that. But his feet are pretty 'meh' regardless.

And I'm not really an advocate of drafting spread players for this reason..they're gonna be projects, especially in the later rounds.

Yes Dude...Pioli's arrogance comes from drafting strictly D...just maybe we might have other needs? ???? 1 WTF O-lineman and 4 D picks...wow I am spent!

ChiefsCountry 04-26-2009 12:43 PM

Ravens with another nice pick, Ingram has more upside but Drew is a very good 5th round TE.

Isn't reacting to picks part of the draft?

So keep building with garbage from the last guy?
If it was his drafts I would agree with you. But he was brought in here to rebuild a team. This is year one. Sorry that the last few years were ****ups. But you don't rebuild by sorta keeping yesterdays crap because the fans are restless.

This is a total rebuild. That's what you do when you have a 2-14 team.

That being said, if a guy from the last regime is a player then he comes along for the ride.

I think Dorsey will be fine and with Jackson and MaGee will be parts of a terrific DL.

Did he give up alot of sacks?

KC kid 04-26-2009 12:47 PM

All of us armchair QBs only base a team's success in the draft at this point based upon where we draft a player in comparison to where they are "mocked". I really think some people need to look at the player and see what the Chiefs are TRYING to do with these guys rather than look at where they are picked and compare to where Kiper has them

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-26-2009 12:49 PM

We still have not drafted a WR to help out our "franchise" QB, or a pass rusher to improve that historically inept rush.

I guess they must be really sold bringing Brian Johnston, Vrabel, and Hali off the edge. :spock:

And the Giants make a good value pick in Bomar.

He gave up a lot of pressures. It's hard to give up sacks in the spread, but if you watched it, he got absolutely abused in the Texas game, and he was facing Melton, not Orakpo.

Im gonna laugh my ass off when our divison ends up having a good draft overall. The fact of the matter is this...NO ONE knows how ANY of these players will turn out. We wont know until this season, and 3 years from now. We all thought we had the best draft class of 08' well as of right now, we didnt. At this rate we arent the best draft class of 08'. I would have never guessed that the NYG rookies would basically carry the Giants to the Superbowl nor did anyone else. I dont wanna see bitching until we know what these guys are gonna be like.
