Taylor was f'n nails in the playoffs last year, like most on offense. But I've watched him basically every snap in these two games and he's absolutely stone walling his dudes. I mean destroying them. I don't know what happened in the playoffs and now but he's playing at an all pro RT level.

So the whole line is basically pro bowl level except left tackle. Which is why Smith wasn't an issue last year, but .......

Thought Taylor was good against the Bengals but who was he up against. Looked...OK against the Ravens. Obviously Kingsley is the question but Taylor is by far and away the next worst guy on the OL. We have a great IOL. That is rock solid.

Is it crazy to get him some snaps with 6 man lines? 3 tackles? Basically the same as 12 personnel, but extra pass protection with or without a back. I probably a reason you don’t see it except for short yardage, but whaty not pass pro too?

I was wondering that the other day.. You could even put him in motion to go where the problem pass rusher is lined up..

We need to work this guy in. Give him experience.

Yes, he’s athletic enough to do that…I think I saw him get a snap on a running play where he pulled right and it was the misdirection to Mecole going left. It got me wondering how we could work him in more often, especially with Wiley out. I still think Kingsley is the long term answer, but right now I understand going with Wanya, who has improved over last year.

Outside of an injury I don’t see how he gets action any time soon, even next year. If Morris starts all 17 games and the playoffs does anyone really think Reid will go away from him next year? He’ll stick with the incumbent.

I have been wondering if Reid or Heck have thought about moving Taylor to the left side, because Morris is definitely not an NFL left tackle, and is most likely a guard, but we should see how he plays at RT.

I just know that if we continue to have the same level of play at LT, Mahomes might not finish the season. I know that sounds dramatic, but Morris is really bad, and Mahomes already has a bad ankle.

Also, when watching the All-22, LT is the spot that appears to hinder the offense the most, on pass plays and running plays, although not as much on running plays.

I dunno, they probably would prefer to stick with 4 out of 5 being good/great then potentially 3 out of 5 if Taylor doesn't play LT as well as he has been playing RT lately. Taylor got away with a flag last game and it had the twittards crying so they will probably flag him the first pass play to shut them up (but it won't shut them up regardless)
