Tiggeruppercut does the same exact thing in every thread... Sometimes worse. Yet each thread is derailed and football discussion ends while we sift through pages of his crap to find football discussion again...

Wait, when have I wished harm on any player? Stay on topic...

Serious questions, those are. I have accepted this forum's good and bad. Accepted that it is not my place to change it.

Just trying to understand where and why the discussion breaks down so quickly from a topic, and becomes nothing more than a shit-throwing contest between members.

Is that where most people here find their joy? in not actually discussing the topics.. but in venting out their life frustrations by way of immature contention with other members?

Again, not trying to change things. Purely and genuinely curious.

... and what IS on every forum in one form or another.. when a person takes a stance, and gives out their opinions on it.. why is there this clear need to repeat that opinion every hour? or every day?

is it that they are desperate to force that opinion in an effort to gain credibility to that opinion.. to validate it?

Just sitting here with coffee in hand, and pondering these things. No need to respond if you don't want to.

( and yeah, I do feel that any alleged Chiefs fan should instantly be banned if they express joy over the injury of a Chiefs player.. if that is indeed what occurred... and past transgressions do matter, when making the decision to overlook or hand down certain levels of consequence )

The simple answer, in short is: You are interfacing with Chiefs fans now...not 49ers fans.

Honestly dude (or Elizabeth, if that's you), I think you would understand it a little better if you weren't so used to interfacing with 49ers fans...they are a fan base that has been pretty spoiled in the semi-recent past in terms of their team's success. Whenever I hear a 49ers fan belly-aching over something, I become annoyed and think to myself, "you don't even know what pain is when it comes to your teams' woes, you spoiled brats."

There are a lot of "blind homer" Chiefs fans out there (and they are a freaking problem, considering some of the shitstorms that have arisen over the years). This is no surprise...every fanbase has them. However, there is a group of Chiefs fans who are annoyed to the point where they've reached the end of their rope and are skeptical of the moves they make...and for good reason. Many things seem like a repeat of something that didn't end well, which gives us the "well, we've experienced this played out story many times before...and we know how it ends" apathetic vibe.

Let me ask you a few questions and if you see where I am going with it, maybe you will be somewhat capable of understanding why certain Chiefs fans come off the way they do. Why is the year 1970 significant? Who is Todd Blackledge and how does he tie in to the Chiefs? Who is Lin Elliott? What was the no-punt game? Why do we hate the Colts so much? What happened to our star QB the last time we made the AFC Championship? Who did we lose to in the playoffs in 1997 and why did that suck so badly? What was the Grbac vs. Gannon controversy and how did it end? How did it feel to root for a team that had Herm Edwards as their HC? How did it feel watching an expensive, yet unproven Matt Cassel play QB for us for 3.5 seasons because he was more or less shoved down our throats?? Did you know that in 2012 there was a team that finished 2-14, flew banners over the stadium on gamedays requesting the benching of the QB and firing of our GM, had a starter who shot and killed his girlfriend and then offed himself in the parking lot where this team plays in front of the GM and HC....in which despite the fact that this coach/GM saw this, they were still awful enough to be fired? Did you know that team was the Kansas City Chiefs?

I don't know, try answering some of those questions and think about how it would feel to experience all of it and then you may have a better understanding as to why some Chiefs fans are the way they are.

When they start banning people here for having an opinion then I'm outta here. I endured Tiggerdouchenozzle, Sandy Vag and several other posters that bring absolutely nothing to this board other than rank stupidity. Yet I've resisted the call to ban them because despite the fact both of those posters are universally reviled I want to hear a opposing view. I could put them on ignore which I think would be the best thing for people that don't want to hear actual facts from Clay.

I think even human punching bags bring something to the table. So unless someone is spamming bullshit links, or posting racial or disgusting images they should stay. Anyone that wants to actually talk football should stay. The homers are needed to post stuff too.

Money post.

Let's be real, MANY members have warned him of his style since he's been back. He kept pushing, spamming and trolling until he reached his goal. How many times has he had the white knight society out in force, Maybe it's not 1 specific post, because there have been many. While you sift through his bag of tricks, he will be off enjoying his bag of dicks.

That's a really good summary of Chiefs heartbreak.

Exactly, and here's another question that should be easy for him, how many SF 49er QBs have we traded for and how many picks have we lost in the process?

Clay has been trolling nonstop asking for it. I agree that Tiger is annoying, as well.

OctoberFart 11-03-2016 08:51 AM

This place will implode if Foles plays like he did the past couple years and you guys lose. It isn't that far off of reality.

BossChief 11-03-2016 08:52 AM

They banned clay for 6 months for rooting Nick Foles on, and did so under the false umbrella that "he cheered/wished for injury" (even though he never did) and yet black Bob is still allowed to post here?

What the actual **** is that about?

I'm honestly a little surprised that Alex is 100% OUT for the game rather than just playing the backup role. If Foles comes out and struggles, it'd sure be nice to have Alex waiting in the wings rather than Tyler Bray.

Hopefully we just plain take care of business against a bad team, though.
