100% Scouse.

Guy is pretty good at what he does.

He was also in a short lived series called Life. I watched both seasons and thought it was great. Wished it would have continued but it just didn't get a big enough following. I don't know if I could do a synopsis of the show any justice but ultimately he is a cop that is framed for the murder of his cop friend and sentenced to Life in prison. The show starts around the time of his release from prison once he is exonerated and he is given millions of dollars for his false imprisonment. Part of his agreement is he is allowed back on the force as an investigator. He has become quite awkward from his time in prison. Hi jinks ensue.

Decent enough show, but the real stars of the show were; Sarah Shahi . . . . . . . and the Maserati. ;)

Quentin Tarantino’s final film on its way as title is revealed

Quentin Tarantino is reportedly set to begin working on his final film, which has been given the title The Movie Critic.

According to sources at The Hollywood Reporter, the Pulp Fiction director is preparing to direct the film

Details about the film’s plot are currently being kept under wraps, but sources have described the story as being set in the late 1970s with a female lead at its centre.

Frazod 03-16-2023 08:30 PM

For whatever reason I never commented on this after seeing it. I really enjoyed it. That final fight was ****ing epic. Too bad things didn't shake out in real life the way they did in this movie.

I'm hoping he goes the sci-fi route.

Bowser 04-19-2024 06:26 PM

Maybe they're going to back a Brinks truck up to his house to do the adult Star Trek idea he's been kicking around forever? Highly doubtful, but fun to think about.

Deberg_1990 04-03-2025 05:37 AM

Well this is interesting. They are making a Cliff Booth side movie. Fincher directing and QT writing. Nice!

He said he had a Captain Kirk vs. Kligons movie script already done. He'd kill that story line.

You'd need a new Captain Kirk though.

I've heard about that, and I would love to see it happen.

I'm a big Tarantino fan, but "Once Upon a Time" is my least favorite of the movies he actually directed.

BigRedChief 04-08-2025 11:29 AM

The ‘ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD’ sequel is officially happening at Netflix.

• Focused on more adventures of Cliff Booth

• Quentin Tarantino wrote the script but decided not to direct, Brad liked it so much that he wanted to pitch it to Fincher

Fincher is directing the movie. Teaming up with the director that directed some of Pitt’s best work like Seven and Fight Club.

Takes place about 8 years after the last one ended. Starts filming soon. $200 million budget and will be free on Netflix.

Agreed- but it might tie with The Hateful 8. To be honest, I didn't finish watching either movie- nothing in either held my interest and I found them to be remarkably bad.

Cliff Booth: [to the Manson Family] Oh... wait a minute. I know you. I know all three of you! Yeah, Spahn Ranch! Spahn Ranch, yeah! Woo!
[turns to Katie]
Cliff Booth: I don't know your name, but I remember that red hair.
[turns to Sadie]
Cliff Booth: And you're Sadie. I remember your white little face.
[turns to Tex]
Cliff Booth: And you were on a horsey! Yeah... you are?
Tex: I'm the Devil. And I'm here to do the Devil's business!
Cliff Booth: [after a short pause] Nah, it was dumber than that. Something like Rex.
Sadie: God, shoot him, Tex!
Cliff Booth: Tex!

Pretty shocked by your take, tbh

Its not my favorite QT movie, but its top 3-4

He did such an outstanding job of taking you back to that era IMO... I was completely sold at the first scene with Dalton and Cliffs CBS promo on the set of Bounty Law, it took me straight back to late 60s early 70s television

I absolutely loved this movie and loved Cliff. The end fight scene and the fight scene with Bruce Lee was all awesomeness. Can't wait for more.

"I'm as real as a donut motherf**er" has got to be one of the greatest lines ever.

BigRedChief 04-23-2025 02:31 PM

Here’s some more info about the upcoming movie. Spoiled in case some tight ass gets his panties in a bunch. It’s just generic info IMHO.
Spoiler!

Deberg_1990 04-24-2025 04:37 AM

That sounds awesome!

I haven’t read it, but I thought the novelization made clear Cliff did kill his wife?
