My daughter actually played against one of their now freshman middles (I think) last year in club season. The Mizzou girl did a slide hit and cracked a girl straight in the face with her hit, concussing her at the tournament. Wicked, wicked shot. Hey reerun, we have beat two ranked teams this year, at the time we played they were ranked. When you win a game in football it hurts the other team's record, hence their ranking.

Mizzou is #5 in the BCS...one of three SEC schools in the top 5.

Mizzou should be a shoo-in for a BCS bowl game this year.

If it isn't the title game, I don't really care what bowl we go to.

It will be interesting to see if they get to the SEC title game and don't win it, if they're bypassed for the 2nd BCS slot.

KSU will probably end up in the holiday bowl. Yikes.

I'd rather play a non BCS game against Oregon or Nebraska than a BCS bowl against Central Florida or Fresno.

Mizzou won't be bypassed by other schools for a BCS slot. The sec doesn't treat it's members unfairly like the Big 12 does.

The Big 12 has devised a foolproof way to make sure they don't have to deal with a similar situation in the future.

I'm hoping Mizzou beats A&M this weekend so they can put themselves in a position for the SEC to choose. Of course, most Mizzou brains are so far gone at this point they probably won't even be able to tell the irony of such a situation gone bad.
