This is just horrible news. I never met Jim but we had a ton of interaction via PM and Rep. He was such a nice guy (despite his online persona) and his passing has saddened me far more than I could have imagined.
Godspeed to your family, Mr. Titanman. |
I remember Jim from back in the Star BB days, when he was jerey. I always felt a special kinship with him because of his long memory of the highs and lows of being a Chiefs fan, his interest in world affairs and the no-nonsense way that he took on and overcame the many challenges he faced in his life. Jim was a one of a kind presence on the board. I had always hoped to meet him in person. Even though I never did, I'm sure I'll never forget him. May he rest in peace.

Defininately praying.

I never had the chance to meet Jim in person, but he came across as a very good, genuine person. Godspeed, Jim. My deepest condolences to his family. |
Jim death while sad. Will mean he won't suffer and he will be blessed by his lord. I never really chatted with him but he was a decent man. Now grant peace to him and his family. God be with you.

In fact, he's probably annoyed that no one has asked for his casino cash. ;) One of the first pos. reps. I ever received from him was when I made fun of one of his OP. Good dude. |

It's been a week now, so I'm going to go ahead and unstick this thread. Feel free to bump it every once in a while if you'd like, or eventually someone will probably start a "Logical" thread in the new history forum.
|
If I'm not mistaken Jim was a Lakers fan. I hope he got to watch the game from upstairs last night.

Wait I missed it. What was the reason for this bump?
Nothing against it... just wondering if there was a particular reason why |

Can a mod permanently delete that post, all responses to it and this one? It doesn't belong in this thread and shouldn't stay.
Edit: I can't delete it because tapatalk only let's me edit but not delete. I'll Check to make sure it's gone tomorrow and PM a mod if it isn't. Thanks mods! |

|
I had the privilege to meet Jim once over a 3 day period, I was blessed to know him and sadden to not of known him in person longer.
RIP Jim, from the days of the Old Star BB board till now, from your contributions , controversial candor on down to humor, You are sorely missed. |

He loved this gif :( |
Jim wasn't nearly as logical as he tried to portray himself to be, but he had a unique ability to remain almost dispassionate while he was beating you down if you displayed what he viewed as dumbassery.
I miss that guy. |

I always appreciated Vlad's takes even if they weren't in agreement with my own.

I always liked Jim even though I didn't always agree with a lot of his views. He seemed like a genuinely decent guy. RIP, Logical.
|
Logical was my favorite person of all time. You know he looks down on us once in a while, smiling, laughing, saying we are all still a bunch of dumb asses!
Make sure to keep all the angels on their toes, Jim! o:-) |
:(
|
I always figured God must be a CHIEFS fan, because he doesn't make it easy for any of us. This ain't no bandwagon group. With that in mind, I'm guessing Jim has seats on the celestial 50 yard line and some damned good company up there.

I joined this forum right around the time Jim did. We had alot of disagreements over the years, sometimes he got on my nerves (especially his love for Jeremy Shockey).
But I respected him, we got along most of the time, and this is truly a sad day. I'm sorry for the family. My thoughts are with the family. |
I liked Jim, although he could never tell when I was being facetious or not.
