I love it. I still have hope for Jared Wiley becoming a weapon at tight end with Travis at the end of his career. But even if he doesn't, our wide receiver room, on paper is the best that Mahomes has had. I know that nobody has reached the level that Hill did, but the wide receiver room overall wasn't close to this talented behind Hill

Ironically, if you have a 'word of caution' comparison to make it isn't Skyy Moore.

It's another Jalen from the Skyy Moore draft.

Does he give me Skyy Moore vibes? Not at all. But is a Jalen Tolbert sort of flame out possible? Yeah - of course. Always is with small school guys on the 3rd day.

But this is still a damn good pick.

lol yeah it's stupid. Not only is he 6 feet tall but he's ripped. Size is absolutely not a concern here.

And I see no reason he can't improve on route running with actual coaching he's clearly fast in the splits

Strong after contact reminiscent of Direckshun's mom

Skyy had good speed and quickness but TERRIBLE agility. He was touted as a great route runner. Not sure why if he tested out so bad in agility drills. Royals has good agility as well as speed.

To be completely fair - I thought he was a mid 3rd pure talent. But didn't think we'd get him at the back of 3 and loved the fit. So I was willing to grab him a little earlier.

Honestly, I think that's what the Chiefs did with Gillotte. I don't think they believed he was the 66 best player on the board but I think they decided they wouldn't be able to get him at 95 so they took him a hair early.

Skyy Moore is the most obvious draft echo chamber example you'll ever see. And we don't need to worry about him anymore.
