Friend of mine is a Browns fan. I look forward to his mental gymnastics explaining how this would be good.

If the Browns stupidly do this you know that Dak would blow his leg out on the first snap of preseason and the Cowboys would draft the next Josh Allen with the Brown’s pick.

Dak hasn't won shit and never will.. He would fit in perfectly..

If the Browns do this, they should fire Andrew Berry on the spot. This idiot traded for Deshaun Watson and then handed him a ridiculous contract they can't get out of. Doing this would cement him as the worst GM ever. Matt Millen would be better, instantly.

Yes.

Time to put failed QB number 25 on the list.

What is inside the skulls of Browns front office personnel, Alex?

Trent Green was better.

He never got to play with anything resembling a decent defense like Dak has. One of the all-time what ifs is if Green doesn't get hurt in 99. He was lighting it up in preseason with that Rams offense, completing something like 90% of his passes for a bunch of yards. I really believe they still win the Super Bowl if he doesn't get hurt. We'll never know though.

Factory or sadness

This team could literally hire a twelve year old that plays Madden and do better than they have.

Red Dawg 03-28-2025 07:08 AM

It's insane how many QB's they drafted and signed and had zero luck. Dak is just another bum for them.

I think Dak could win if he were paid less so his teams could surround him with more help. I think he’s a good player but nowhere near elite which is how he’s being paid. The last time I saw him elevate his team was never but I’ve seen him play well plenty.

The Browns are incompetent so anything’s possible I guess but I’ll believe it when I see it. I wouldn’t want him.

I swear to God, half the owners in this league are just letting their grandchildren run their teams for the fun of it. It's weird how the salary cap was supposed to create ultimate parity, but that only works if you have enough competent people to run the organizations. We have clearly reached a point where over half this league is run by buffoons and they are the complete bitches of the other half of the league who actually understand what they're doing.

I know it's always been like this to an extent, but it seems like the haves and have nots have never been further separated, even though every effort is made to keep them relevant. It really does boggle the mind.

I think the opposite is true.

There are fewer teams run by reeruns than ever. Go to the 90s and you had some REAL morons running the show. I mean the reason the Cowboys could do what they did then was that there were just really stupid people calling the shots and Jimmy Johnson...wasn't.

I think there are more competent teams than ever.

It may just be the case that it makes the stupid ones stand out even more.
