Yes. I would have to re-watch the episode, but it was said or implied she attacked her Ex’s current girlfriend/bonus mom.

Unhinged.

Perfect season ending last night. They all finally got to go home.

Well done. I look forward to season 2. 4th of July weekend.

Kinda strange that Dr Collins, Dr Garcia and Dr Shamsi all kinda dropped off the map.

Not a deal breaker, but they could pick and choose a little more. Or even not insist on building in soap box monologues. Again, I agree with most everything said, but it just takes me out of the world of the show. Save some stuff for season two!

Not sure how well a medical show with fair if no patients showed up or just a bunch of colds and UTI , prescription renewals maybe a few back to work form and some physicals.

In fairness, the show sort of made mention that this particular day was abnormal/out of the ordinary there at the end. So it’s somewhat plausible that each particular seasons day is just one bad day out of 365 days. Season 2 has already announced it will be set on the 4th of July, so get ready for some new big horrible event.

So is season 2 set up on the Fourth of July weekend or is it scheduled to premiere on the 4th of July weekend?

I’ll sit over here and quietly, thanks.

Set on a 4th of July weekend. Premieres in Jan 2026. Confirmed

So obviously involves a time jump of some sort? Because I think this season was set in the Fall?

What are you talking about? Did you mean to quote my post?

If I’m Translating his reply correctly, hes saying it would be a boring show if it was just patients being seen for “bunch of colds and UTI , prescription renewals maybe a few back to work form and some physicals”

But that’s more urgent care, not ER stuff.

we all know that most cases in an ER and low grade stuff because many do not have a doctor or health care. So they dont do urgent care. They go into the ER.

Then have to wait for the big cases.

Spoiler!

It can be assumed that alot of the more routine and urgent care was going on the in background or off to the side. The show just chose not to show it. But they did a decent job of showing stuff that wasn’t always life or death cases.

Yeah, but that's not what I was talking about. I was saying rather than packing every cultural issue of the day into one season and doing a scattershot job of it, maybe focus on fewer topics and make it less ham-fisted. I was in no way advocating for cold and UTIs.

That was some great acting by Noah Wyle. He has come a long way since his rookie ER acting days.

I also like how they made the most awkward newb doctor look very normal when walking with her special needs sister.

It was pretty good for the most part. It's borderline too much to ask these days to not have any form if entertainment/escapism bash you over the head with some sort of message or agenda, whether you agree with it or not.

You shouldn't have to eyeroll and cross your arms waiting for the message scene to end so you can get back to your show, movie, videogame, etc.

I can't even for ONE HOUR, sometimes less, engage in some sort of entertainment without the developer letting me know where they stand or what they think.

I don't give a ****.

I just wanna ****ing watch TV God Dammit.
