With prices coming down like they are, I see no reason to buy a "high end" LED unit. Either get an OLED, or go cheap and get an LED from Walmart.

We've got a bright main level of the house. I've got a TV mounted that during middle of the day, the light makes dark scenes hard to see. Couldn't tell you what type of TV other than brand.

Bought a 65" TV from Walmart because I got Sunday ticket so that I could set up several to watch multiple games. Picture is soooo much better in the living room than the mounted one, so I'm going to be replacing it eventually.

I'm amazed anyone is watching TV in a room with sunlight streaming through the windows. Wife must have set that up. LMAO

My living room has the shades drawn at all times.

It's only an issue with dark scenes.

I don't blame you. You wouldn't want any of "those people" scoping out your belongings.

I always have it dark when I watch TV. I hate glare.

Even if there's no glare it distracts focus from the entertainment. Movie theaters are DARK. FOR A REASON.

A dented Nissan Murano in the driveway is an excellent theft deterrent. Hell I keep the doors on that sucker unlocked.

Just pulled the trigger on a hot tub.

Might have 77” OLED $$ left over.

I hope you enjoy your hot tub. Ours has been more trouble than it's worth.

Been wanting a hot tub, but then I remember my parents had one and my dad hated how much time he had to put into it.

The maintenance actually isn't too bad with ours. It just hasn't survived a single winter despite taking all the necessary and recommended precautions.

Pipe burst the first year. Pump blew a seal and started leaking after the 2nd.
