fantasy managers and 9er fans:

“Christian McCaffrey has a calf strain and won't be taking part in the preseason, per Kyle Shanahan.”

Fantasy managers:pic.twitter.com/7OjxAMXX2O
— Moody (@EricNMoody) August 6, 2024
 |
and I wonder if this will impact trade talks:

San Francisco 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall re-aggravated the shoulder injury that forced him to miss some time earlier this offseason.

The team removed him from practice as a precaution, but it's unclear right now just how severe the injury is...

Not great timing with the Brandon… pic.twitter.com/iaucGTIcRH
— Kyle Yates (@KyleYNFL) August 6, 2024
 |
49ers made a sacrifice for blood magic to stay as healthy as they did last year. Now they have returned to where they came from.

They have a couple of potential game changers on their roster, some solid young talent. |

It could happen. You know Billy B would love to be all growed up and finish where he started. |

SF hitting the wall. Mcaffrey getting banged up. Purdy will come back to reality of being a 7th rounder. Meanwhile we own SF, the Bills and the Ravens and the Dolphins. We will own the Bengals after this year.

And Cinci hasn't accomplished much before or after. Quite the unfortunate flash in the pan. |

Sources: After inquiring about Brandon Aiyuk’s availability, the Patriots have decided not to explore any further trade possibilities with the 49ers regarding their standout wide receiver. Sounds like Aiyuk is wanting to leave the 49ers so he can play for a contender.

FWIW: It sounds like the #Patriots were willing to offer the most money per year to Brandon Aiyuk of all the teams pursuing him. New England was believed to be offering north of $30M per season.

Seems like Aiyuk wouldn’t want to go there. stevegroganfan doesn't like me shitting on Cassel. There are no jokes to be had in Patriotsland. Brady told one of his roasters to shut up about Bob Kraft jokes, and an anonymous guy with a computer can't call Matt Cassel a dope. |
