Either way you are ****ed. You punt or you go for it. You are screwed. With any other team you probably just punt and pray but Mahomes is the best QB in the history of the league on 4th and long.

Obviously we were cooked by that point, but the only explanation would be that Andy knew his defense was spent and would just get steamrolled. Probably felt his best bet was something like... the ball that Toney dropped

I’m so desperate to put an end to the overly complicated sideways moving plays I’m even willing to accept they let CEH run the ball.

It's seemingly become a mental hurdle for the offense collectively as well.

When Andy feels the need to approach a 3rd and 1 with some ridiculous trick play, it makes it a WAY more stressful/suspenseful play than it should be.

Instead just get to the line quickly, run up the middle with Pacheco and let your interior offensive line help get you the one yard... preferably before the defense is able to completely get set.

If Pacheco can't do it we have a run block or a scheme problem.

I think I'd chalk it up to the latter at this point.
