This is going to be our toughest game to date on the season.

The Lions are coming in undefeated and we haven't won a game. Hope we can hang with 'em and make it interesting in the 4th quarter.

Season is over. Won't sniff the playoffs

Who is going to be our WR 1.

Outside of Kelce it'll probably be MVS

I needed this thread

We are superior at damn near every position.

Our offense has a chance to put the league on notice with close to a 50 point opening performance and I can see the defense giving up half that to their offense.

With no Omenihu or Jones Goff should have time to throw. I expect our secondary to play well regardless. I'm looking forward to seeing Felix and George on the field at the same time.

The offense shouldn't have any trouble breaking 30 points. Skyy didn't get much work in Preseason. We need him to find his groove. It's his time now.

Going to be a lot of fun

BANNER!!!

I'm not that familiar with the Lions, but off the top of my head, I'd take Aidan Hutchinson over any of our edge rushers and Aman-Ra St Brown over any of our receivers.

Yeah, so I did some research, and KC played a full regular season slate in 2022 (I knew it!!!!), which is 17 games, not 12. So 6 games out of 17 games . . . carry the 1 . . . that's not half (50%), but actually 35% (6/17).

But my post was with gambling and the spread in mind, so I was really thinking about the reg season plus playoffs, which, as I stated, is really 20 games played in 2022. Was pretty sure about that one, since I bet on nearly every game last year.

Now, in doing that research I found that I missed the SEA game, so it wasn't 6 games, but 7 games KC won by double-digits.

But that's still just 35%, when considering every actual game played, 20.

So, no, not HALF.

Hope that clear.:)

In terms if the Lions, it would probably make more sense to see how many games they won by double digits against non-playoff teams... since the Lions aren't the Bills, Bengals, 49ers, Jags.

Unless they are, I guess.

Chiefs were 5th in win margin.

Anyway, I think The Lions are probably going to be a playoff team. It's a worthy opponent

I feel like more and more there is a wider spread between old school coaches who put on a well run camp and those who don’t. Maybe Campbell runs a good offseason but his team has opened the season poorly since he’s been coach. Since mahomes took over we’ve won the opening game by 10+ all but one season (where we won by 2 vs the browns) and a few like last year were an embarrassing display of catching an unprepared team off guard. our early season preparation is always going to be a huge pro for us.

Furious George, especially the back half, played similarly to Hutch last year.

And our WR corps >>> theirs.

These arent your daddy's Lions.

Hope the Chiefs don't take them lightly. Its the home opener so hopefully they're jacked up for it.
