There's going to be a CB run, there's going to be an interior OL run, TE's sprinkled in so you have to hope someone falls.

I think there are better OTs that should be there in the 3rd like Wanya Morris, so I'm not super high on Freeland or Bergeron in the 2nd. I'm also prioritizing weapon unless it's a guy like Benton.
Bergerons upside is he could probably play right away.

Honestly, if you can come out of the first two rounds with FAU and anyone of these guys....I'd be pretty ****ing happy.

Hyatt is overhyped here. I fully expect to see him available mid way through the 2nd, and wont be surprised to see guys like Mingo and Rice go before him.

The more I look at what's available and the board, the more I think the Chiefs end up using 63, 95, 122, 134 and a 3rd or 4th in 2024 to end up with a pick around 50 and a pick around 70... and end up with 2 of WR/DT/OT.

Mayer is the epitome of being a good player that does everything well without an elite trait kills you on draft day.

Benton is my dream pick for the second round given how this fell.

Another big time young piece at a position of need. DL is all about depth, and he would fit right in.

Agreed that Mayer would be nice fit. I’d love to feel good about TE post-Kelce.

Man, I'd love to see us move up to add Joey Porter Jr.
Sneed + McDuffie + Porter = ridiculously good CB corps. Our secondary would be absolutely incredible.

If you draft Porter though you kinda **** up the payscale and all that because you have a high pick that is your 5th CB or you're telling a dude that was good enough to play on a SB team he's benched.

Mayer would be an interesting fit for sure.

He would free up their usage of Kelce, let them basically slot Kelce into the "large slot" role Smith-Schuster filled last year. Which is fun.
