I went 5 Guys, but they don’t hold a candle to Bomber Burger in Wichita Ks.
Bionic Burger is better also. |
Mugs Up Whiz Burgers need love too, wash them down with an Ice Cold Root Beer. Profit.

Got to give backyard burgers some love. It used to the the closest fast food restaurant to my house in Blue Springs. Their 2/3 lb burger with some seasoned fries probably took a good 10 years off my life, but I have no regrets.
Utah has a fast food chain called Crown Burger that has a Pastrami Burger that is incredible for a fast food chain and they claim to have invented fry sauce (basically just ketchup and Mayo mixed together, but so good on the fries and on the burger. My favorite burger in the country is Zombie Burger out of Des Moines though. |
I voted Steak n' Shake, because whenever I go back East I have to get my fix. Still love me a SnS double bacon cheeseburger everything sans pickle/tomato and some cheesy shoestring fries.
But as i posted earlier, i think Goldie's burgers are orders of magnitude better than any of the other choices in the poll. Still the only burger i want to eat with nothing on it. Just buns, cheese and the meat. God, I miss those things. |
I chose Five Guys. Their food is consistent, fresh and delicious. I've never had In N Out or Shake Shack.
I used to love Backyard Burgers decades ago. Somewhere along the line, they changed. And not for the better. They became just another fast food burger joint, although still better than your McDonalds, Burger King, or Wendys. The last couple times I've had Burger King or Carls Jr, it was flat out awful. Not even fit to feed to a dog. Complete and total shit. I'll never eat at those places again as long as I live. |

5 guys serves a soggy, wet burger. The bun is dripping wet, even if you eat it there. So in no universe can it be #1, unless your normal method of eating a burger is to dip it in water. In that case, I imagine a person would consider 5 guys to be elite.
The real thing to note about this poll is that in-n-out doesn't even operate in the midwest, yet in-n-out is still in 2nd place. If Mr. Carr had posted this poll on a Raiders forum (i.e., with a lot of California people), it would be getting 80%+ of the votes. And that's for a very simple reason: it's #1. |
Around my area it Runza. Easily Runza
|
Overall McDonalds, but Five Guys has the best burgers around here.
