I've heard that as well. I almost drove out there to get a basenji a couple months ago before I found out about the puppy mill problem.

I make a point to only vacation in places that have three star or higher rated puppy mills.

Stay away from puppy mills and visit Hodgson or Dawt mills instead. Pro tip
