Ford's all around game has been getting better every week. He is doing better at setting the edge, his coverage has gone from horrible to better than average and his rush is more consistent. Overall I'm pleased.

Reminds me of that moment when we all realized Derrick Johnson wasn't going to be a bust.


Because if you remember we all thought he was. Maybe Dee Ford is like DJ was, he needs reps. Like, a lot.

I liked Dee Fords interview giving credit to the secondary calling it a coverage sack. He never gave up on the play and got to D Carr making him wreck. Also he wrecked him with a forced fumble that was cool.

Good thing it played out the way it did, because Peters got beat on the double move pretty bad. Not sure if EB would get there if that pass was on time.

What's fords 'proper' position? Didn't he line up almost 90% on the left at Auburn?

Bust? No. Disappointment? Absolutely.

When I think of busts I think of Ryan Sims and Jon Baldwin.

The double moves are going to be dangerous this week with Brees coming to town. He utilizes a pumpfake routinely and effectively, Peters is going to have to be careful.

He's on pace for 11 sacks and his run defense looks far better than last year. Wouldn't call that a disappointment right now.

I'd like to think berry would have gotten over the top.

if he would put forth the effort on Q1-3 like he does for 2 or 3 plays in the Q4, we would all love him

With a single high look, that's going to be really tough to cover that much ground.
