What's "Strength of Victory"? Average point margin?

OldSchool 10-20-2014 12:35 AM

I assume it means how many good teams you beat vs scrub teams?

so 60% of the time, it works every time??

Not me.
I don't believe he can stick to the running game over the course of the next 10 games.

He just won't be able to help himself.
Dumbassery is just in his DNA.

Dorsey bud. Not Reid.

There's not a team out there we can't beat. We need coach to do his job. We should get healthier as the season moves forward.

Why Not? 10-20-2014 08:22 AM

I get the feeling both the Chargers and us will be neck and neck week 17 fighting for a WC spot. That game is going to be insane.

No ? Necessary for San Diego next week. Short week, injury ravaged defense, Denver on a roll(Manning doesn't do regular season let down games). As of now, I would take Miami to beat them as well. If not for their dumb coach and a brilliant play by Aaron Rodgers, Miami would be considered one of the top teams right now.

Either Dorsey has been great at signing low end FAs who can actually be quality contributors, or the coaching staff is much better than we give them credit for.

I would say that it's a combination of both. They're making chicken salad out of mostly chicken shit.

We still have San Diego again and Pittsburgh (that are .500 or above). Two very winnable games.

But for sure, in this tough NFL in this tough division, the Chiefs are going to have be perfect the rest of the way to even sniff a playoff spot.

Said it on another thread - we don't get away from the rush and the receivers don't drop big play passes and we can beat every team remaining on our schedule.

OldSchool 10-20-2014 09:13 AM

The Seahawks game doesn't look nearly as daunting. They can be run on and should be run on. Bills game we should win, it's Kyle ****ing Orton at QB.

Cardinals aren't invincible, the pass rush should be able to get to Palmer who is a statue back there.

Steelers will be tougher due to their offense but we should be able to score on them. I fully expect Houston and Hali to have multiple sacks in that game as well.

Chargers couldn't beat us in their own home, they're going to walk into Arrowhead and take a game there? Come on.

If Berry can get healthy, we should be in even better shape defensively once he and Mays comes back.

Interesting things to think about....

Chargers have 2 games left against under .500 teams
Broncos have 3 games left against under .500 teams (+1 against Buffalo)
Chiefs have 4 games games left against under .500 teams (+1 against Buffalo)

Crazy thing is, the Titans are the only team the Chiefs have played so far that is under .500. If Denver wins today (and they probably will), that means the Chiefs have played 4 out of 6 games against teams that are 5-2. That's nuts to think the Chiefs are 3-3 right now, especially given the string of bad luck they've had.

Yep. Now compare home games vs away games thus far...Start with Denver and try not to laugh...
