It was a day that Smith needed to be perfect, and he wasn't; the defense was simply nonexistent.

yep , only thing I can fault smith on is the gray missed td.

he threw a Charles pass

Alex Smith had very little other than that fumble to do with this loss.

But, he will be the scape goat.

no he ****ing wont. shut up

The thing is, teams with elite QB's can overcome losing their explosive RB. A. Smith cannot.

You're a ****ing moron for that statement. It's like you didn't watch the ****ing game.

Go back and watch the game before you post.

That one is going to haunt him. And I agree... I think it was everyone's fault, and at the same time it wasn't. I don't know how many times we've even run Gray on that type of play... the timing wasn't there. If that's Charles, he probably gets under the ball with his speed.

For the last time, JFC, Alex Smith is NOT the problem.

Did he throw 3 INT's like the opposing QB did?

That was easily the best Chief QB performance in a playoff game.

jerryforeverrice80 01-04-2014 07:48 PM

that was one of the best games I've ever seen from alex smith.

BULL ****ING SHIT.

If you're happy with a QB who didn't deliver 1 TD in 5 consecutive second half drives in a game that was clearly a shoot out, that's fine. If you're perfectly happy if with that same QB when he came up short of getting a FG on the decisive 6th drive, that's fine.

I'm not satisfied with that QB. I'm not going to bash him; he had a great game. But situational play matters to me.

378 and 4 touchdowns isn't good enough?

Then join the middens on ignore.

The offensive lineup was decimated.

I'd feel differently if Charles, Avery and Knile had been available.

What does that have to do with anything, dumbass.

Alex was not better than Luck.

And I'd guess our pass blocking grade will not be very good. Alex actually had pretty good pocket presence today. He was under pressure a lot.
