I want a real ****ing coaching search conducted. Said the same thing last year. Do a search and find the BEST candidate.

Woodchuck 10-16-2012 11:41 AM

I'll take Reid but he probably won't take a QB early unless he is in love with them. He'll probably go d-line. He loves to move up and take linemen. Just make sure you are ready for that if we hire Reid.

But, the guy does know QBs.

Hammock Parties 10-16-2012 11:42 AM

Rushing attempts and rushing yards are irrelevant in 2012.

Get a QB.

And a fat bastard to lead the team.

Worked for GB.

Jamaal Charles would rape in a pass-first offense getting 60 catches and 200 rushes a year.

Wide open running lanes in 4 wide.

Agreed. It's a miracle that Charles gets what he does with the abysmal passing offense of this team. We need to open things up. Receivers flying all over the field, a QB with a smart enough mind and strong enough arm to fling it all over the place, and guys like Charles/DMC in the flat? Yes, please.

Reid should get a look if available. However, my top HC candidates are as follows:

1. David Shaw (Stanford HC)
2. JAY Gruden
3. Rob Ryan
4. Perry Fewell (Only if he comes with Marc Ross, who I'd LOVE as GM)
5. Mike McCoy

Another Reid myth.

Besides, a HC who believes in pass > run WOULD BE ****ING WELCOME.

Running QB dummy. It's not a myth.

whoman69 10-16-2012 01:30 PM

He's lost his way in Philly because he has had to take more of the burden in Philly after Jim Johnson died. He doesn't have the energy to do it anymore. It cost him his family. You can see it in his press conferences. He's a dead man walking who was forced to fire his DC or face firing himself. He won't have the energy to start all over in KC.

Cowher would be my number 1 choice but I certainly would not mind Reid coming here

He would be on my list of candidates.

In comparison to the other head coaches this organization has hired over the past 7 years, Andy Reid is a ****ing genius.

At least he wins.

Thats the most important stat you gotta look at folks. The other 3 junks that have coached this team(Herm, Haley, Crennel) have a combined winning percentage of 41%.

*Lastly, this type of hire would address the issue that this franchise has faced over the 7 years which is inability to hire good head coaches.

Not having a good head coach has ****ed this team up over the years.

BossChief 10-16-2012 01:38 PM

Id probably say that conservatively speaking 80% of the importance going forward with the Chiefs is finding and developing a franchise quarterback.

Not many guys better at that than Andy Reid that will be available.

You wouldn't have to worry about him ruining Jamaal Charles.

The only thing Charles is going to ruin is that below average Donkey D sport.

No.
