He was permabanned for what he admits was a bannable offense. He was allowed back... don't remember how long it lasted, but it wasn't more than a few months. He was banned again... allowed back again with specific instructions to let things go & not get personal & stir shit, and that experiment lasted a month, after this past week of him and billay following each other around flinging shit at each other.

I said it in the Hootie thread... I'd rather see a few others get permabanned before Hootie, but after coming back from a permaban twice, the short leash rules were laid out there for him, and he couldn't even follow them for a whole month.

I must not know much about the hootie saga. I had no idea that there was drama besides just disagreements in conversations.

So because of 2 mods, who haven't even presented the posts that got him banned, Hootie is gone for 2 years? This doesn't make any sense. By the poll, 93% of the planet think he shouldn't have been banned yet 2 people get to make the decision?

It's all very confusing. Mr. Hootie said some stuff and then some other people said some stuff and "BAM", he was cracked on the noggin' by one of our fabulous and talented mods. There were also talk involving goats, power tools, and a girl named, "Lafemuapa", but those are just rumors.

Don't the mods historically take overwhelming votes of the membership into consideration on banning decisions? So far, this vote is pretty overwhelming. 48-3 against the ban in a public poll? ChiefPlanet hasn't been this close to unanimous since Carl Peterson left.
