Arkansas left the SWAC because they were sick of Texas's shit. Why would they want to come back to a conference even more dominated by Texas?

I think it's too late for that.

So if these schools do move to the Big 10, when would this take affect?

schools have to give the conference 2 years notice before leaving the Big 12.

of course the Big 12 could always just wave that if they think having "lame duck" schools would hurt them more than help.

Frazod 04-30-2010 09:50 PM

**** the Big XII, Beebe and all things Texas. I hope we make the move tomorrow.

I'm not sure they HAVE TO do anything.

I don't know if they'll get them, but you have to bet money the SEC will go after Texas. There's already been talk of it. It almost happened in the 90's but it was shot down because the state demanded they take A&M too. If teams are poaching 2-4 teams, that won't be a problem now.

Considering how much support they've given us, I think we owe them exactly DICK.

But frankly, I don't think they'll care. I mean, why start now?

The endowments, yes, but damn sure not the TV contract.
