Weird combination of smilies, are you applauding his racism or sex with a 14 year old?

I don't think we've hit rock bottom, I think we just can't get out of the way of our own two feet. If Trent was going to be gone, (contract plus injury), why was he starting the playoff game, especially in the second half? If Carl was touting Huards past performance in RF, and if they knew Trent wasn't the man this year, why weren't they already handing the reins over to Huard and making Brody earn the spot? Instead, they never set a leader at QB, hoping that competition would win out, when now it looks like both QBs are overcompensating due to the pressure to perform.

Sends a bad example and message to the whole team, especially the offense. No leader, no identity. No identity, not good...not bad... mediocrity.

Well said, Stevie.

If 45 yards passing and an INT wins you a starting job in the NFL, then look out.

Huard hasn't done anything to EARN the spot either.

He got it because of his track record from last year since Croyle did nothing to take it from him.

What does choking in the playoffs have to do with Carl? He fields a team that has playoff talent almost every season.

What does the GENERAL MANAGER have to do with putting the personal in place to win in the playoffs?!?!?

Come on dude, you're not that dumb.

Yep. Some don't want to see that. :shake:

Let's bring Marty in as an adviser. He made a living with shit QB's.

Don't you think that if the staff was so happy with Huard's "track record" they would have handed him the job in the offseason?

If other teams thought Huard could repeat that performance, they would have contacted Damon' agent. Damon signed for backup money BEFORE free agency started because his agent told him there was no interest.

Why would they even give Croyle the chance if they were happy with Damons' play? He would have been told going in that he was the backup, just like they did with Huard backing up Green.

Could it be that they aren't completely sold on Huard's smoke and mirrors act of 2006?

Ozarks-Chiefs-Fan 08-26-2007 03:07 PM

I wanted Croyle to be the starter...but like it or not Huard gives the Chiefs the best chance to win. I don't care if you are a superbowl team or not, to start the season you have to play the people who give you the best chance to win.

If it's your 14 year old having sex, WTF difference does the color of the idiot (who deserves a sound beating) she's involved with have to do with anything?

On the other hand, maybe you have a point. When Huard fu**s up and gets yanked in the next few weeks, there won't be as much pressure on Brodie.
