4 games of being immoble and it showed clearly, then 5 1/2 games of consistently good. There was no 'a couple quarters here, a game or two there'. There was a clear line. |

Wow, I think Burrow is a woman just like Trevor Lawrence.
|
Sounds like there could be a stadium controversy brewing in Cincinnati? Will be interesting to see how that deal shakes out along with the stadium issues for Kansas City as well.

At first I scoffed at the idea that the Chargers are a "current" rival, but Reid vs. Harbaugh actually might be one of the more exciting matchups heading into 2024. All of our other rivals have dropped off.

6 months since the surgery. I would not like this at all if I was a Bengals fan.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Bengals QB Joe Burrow on his recovery from wrist surgery, and where he's at heading into spring work: "The wrist has good days and bad days, just like the knee did ... We'll be smart about it."<br><br>Says when it feels good, he'll throw.</p>— Albert Breer (@AlbertBreer) <a href="https://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/1787882681310548334?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 7, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Joe got them to a Super Bowl, that's been the Bengals' zenith. Now just act the divas until fans catch on(unlikely). $$$$$

Unfortunately,, Bengals fans won’t know if he’s “back” until October since Burrow always goes 1-3 in September.

Joe Burrow's gonna be fine. The Bengals bought him a Life Alert

Those chumps won’t win the division even if their girl qb somehow stays healthy.

Chase is not top 2 with Jefferson and Tyreek in the league.
Tbh, I might take Amon-Ra over him if recent trends are any indication of future success. At least St Brown isn’t an uber-douche with a super punchable face. |

Also, as a pediatrics professor, I have to say they have one of the best children's hospitals in the world. Cincinnati has problems, like any other city, but it also has a lot going for it, including a lot of friendly and capable people. |

That's true, because kids don't make a lot of money, so if a region takes good care of their kids, that says something about their values. Most healthcare systems make pediatrics feel like they are losing money for the system. ;) I appreciate how Children's Mercy In KC helped me deal with an eye injury when I was very young and my working class family was dealing with a lot. |

If the great things about your city can be found in any large metro area in the country, isn't that city just meeting the expectation, not surpassing it? |

Most of the magnet children's hospitals in the United States are excellent facilities with at least one program where they really excel. I used to work with all the childrens' hospitals in the country. It's definitely a peer but not a notable outlier. The only childrens' hospitals that really have issues are the ones that are in depressed areas and have funding issues. Oakland struggles because it HAS to take Medicaid kids, and SF does not (they're in the same system and it is set up that way on purpose). Memphis Le Bonheur has issues at times because St. Jude's attracts a lot of local donors (and is very specialized). Etc. |

I can predict it right now:
NFL RIGGED FOR CHIEFS SCHEDULING BENGALS AT WEEK2 BEFORE BURROWS IS FULLY HEALTHY! |
Quote:
If they lose, all we'll hear from Bengals fans is 'you're lucky you got us early', 'Joe isn't fully healthy yet' and 'the new O-Line hasn't had enough time to gel yet' Go ahead and mark it down and write it in stone, etc. These are the EXACT excuses you will hear if/when they lose in Week 2. |
