Good call with that "fat girl at closing time" analogy. Sure appears that it came off as desperate, eh? Dumbass. |

I am excited that Andy will get us back to 8-8 every year-lol Maybe even lose a playoff game every few years to keep the hope alive and butts in the seats.

"I'm fine with Pioli" isn't a glowing recommendation. It means.....Clark told me to say that I'm fine with him because he's still under contract.

Maybe if Reid wasn't taking his son's drugs he would have a SB win or 2. |

Could be bad. Could be meaningless rhetorical bullshit. But let's not try to justify it any more than we should be crucifying Reid for it. |

(I can't quite do it) it's like this beautiful gal that keeps ****ing you over. she pisses you off and walks all over you and you're like **** OFF! then she rubs her big ole titties in your face and begs you go give it to her and she pulls you right back in. sigh...I love big ole titties..... |

That's a hell of an offensive staff. Now they just need to do something with the defense. |

Andy Reid is telling #Chiefs owner Clark Hunt that he will bring ex-#Browns GM Tom Heckert with him to KC. They worked together with #Eagles |
If this doesnt happen, Ill never forgive ESPN

Heckert is the rumored link to come with Reid, I doubt Dorsey gets pulled to KC, he's going to go on his own path and get a pretty nice paycheck for it.

How would everyone feel about John Dorsey?

http://www.packers.com/team/staff/jo...d-4d693e8586bd http://prod.static.packers.clubs.nfl...orsey_John.jpg John Dorsey, now in his 22nd year in NFL player personnel, was promoted to director — football operations in May 2012, his fourth tenure in Green Bay. He previously served 12 years as the Packers’ director of college scouting. An effective player for the Packers during the 1980s, Dorsey oversees the college side of Green Bay’s scouting operations, and also is actively involved in the area of pro personnel. Brought back to the team as director of college scouting on May 8, 2000, by then-Executive Vice President/General Manager Ron Wolf, the 52-year old Dorsey earlier had been a key component in Green Bay’s personnel operations for nine highly successful years. First hired as a college scout in May 1991 with a focus on linebackers, he was retained by Wolf the following year and, ultimately, was promoted to head up the Packers’ college scouting department on Feb. 27, 1997, succeeding John Math, who retired. Hired as director of player personnel for the Seattle Seahawks on Jan. 26, 1999, as he followed former Packers coach Mike Holmgren to the West Coast, Dorsey resigned that position just over a year later, leaving shortly after the 2000 NFL Draft. Selected by Green Bay in the fourth round of the 1984 draft, beginning his initial Packers employment, Dorsey played five seasons for the team (1984-88) at linebacker and on special teams before spending a final year on injured reserve in 1989. He totaled 130 tackles as a pro, in addition to two fumble recoveries and one pass defensed. Dorsey led Green Bay’s special teams in solo tackles in three of his first four seasons, a level of play which helped earn him selection as the Packers’ special teams captain. His 35 special teams tackles in 1984 are still a club record. Possessor of a streak of 76 consecutive non-strike games played, Dorsey saw that string end when he suffered a freak knee injury in pregame warmups of the team’s ’89 season opener. A four-year starter at the University of Connecticut (1980-83), Dorsey was named Defensive Player of the Year in the Yankee Conference during each of his final two collegiate seasons and is the all-time leading tackler in the now-defunct conference’s history. He also earned Division I-AA All-America recognition as a senior and, in 1998, he was selected to the school’s 100th Anniversary All-Time Football Team. In 2002, Dorsey was inducted into the Anne Arundel (Md.) County Sports Hall of Fame. He graduated with bachelor’s degrees in economics and political science. Heavily involved in the community throughout his playing career, especially with the Wisconsin Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Dorsey currently serves on the board of “65 Roses.” He was voted as the Packers’ Man of the Year in 1987 for his civic contributions. At the professional level, Dorsey is on the board of directors for National Football Scouting and is a former member of the NFL College Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the NFL Scouting Combine selection committee, and is a voting member of the collegiate Butkus Award (given to the nation’s top linebacker). Dorsey is the only NFL voting member of the Harris Interactive College Football Poll. Dorsey was born Aug. 30, 1960, in Leonardtown, Md. He and his wife, Patricia A. Sexton-Dorsey, reside in De Pere, Wis. He also is the father of three sons, Bryant, 25, Austin, 21, and Jack, 1, and a daughter, Catherine, 3. In his spare time, Dorsey enjoys playing golf, reading and running – having completed two marathons. |
mary jo whatever from cleveland is on 810
she says heckert was respected and fans were sorry to see him go, believed he had acquired some good talent |
Sounds like Reid would have complete control.
That would mean it would be his job to worry about the candy wrappers... just in this case if he finds one, there better be some damn candy in those wrappers or he will be pissed!!! |
Goodbye Scott, Youre the weakest link Goodbye

Tom Heckert's history with the Eagles and Reid, according to Wikipedia:
Philadelphia Eagles Heckert first went to the Eagles as Director of Player Personnel in 2001 before being promoted to Vice President of Player Personnel in 2003. He helped Eagles coach Andy Reid assemble a team that went to four straight NFC Championship Games from 2001 to 2004, and to Super Bowl XXXIX. He was promoted to General Manager on January 2, 2006. However, he served mainly in an advisory role to Reid, who also serves as executive vice president of football operations and has the final say in football matters. During Heckert’s tenure with the Eagles, the team drafted or acquired 10 players who would go on to earn Pro Bowl status, including kicker David Akers, defensive lineman Trent Cole, wide receiver DeSean Jackson, offensive lineman Jason Peters, cornerback Asante Samuel and fullback Leonard Weaver, all of whom were selected to the 2010 Pro Bowl. Of the 22 Eagles starters at the end of the 2009 season, 13 were draft choices of the team during Heckert’s tenure while two more were signed as undrafted free agents. In fact, three players from the club’s 2009 draft class were among the 13. |
Atleast Hunt's trying man! Get this done and hire the HC first and let him pick his personnel guy.

We just need to hope Carolina decides to move on from Rivera. He'd make this a grand slam, if indeed that is the offensive staff.

Didn't Reid fire Rivera?

If Reid is hired I think Pioli will have little do with football decisions even if he stays so whatever. However, looking at Cleveland's draft we should hire Heckert .
|
Figure Pioli will stick around in some player personnel role. But I'd say a new GM is a given.

Funny how that works, franchise QBs making coaches look like a genius. Just glad to see RAC gone and Pioli getting dismembered. |

The optimistic view of this is instead of just getting a piece of the Patriots way, we may literally be importing the entire "Eagles way." Like if we'd been able to bring Belichick with Pioli.

Pioli will stay and be in charge with Donovan to take care of the business side of things. Those two are known to be among the best in the league when it comes to that, and there is no reason to let go of someone of his capabilities just because the fans have decided he serves no more use besides coffee bitch and candy wrapper supervisor.

Schefter on now. KC is doing what SD and ARZ wont, that is control

Sam Monson @PFF_Sam

Reid needs to hurry up and make it official. I need to get some work done. :(

I hope one of the details they are working out is for a personal trainer and chef for Reid. I'm not saying that to be rude or sarcastic or mean. I down right think it will help him be a better coach.
