I think what's happening now is that the rumor about UT, TAMU and MU + East Coast school to the Big 10 has some legs, but the hang up is some B10 schools are trying to take a step back and want to take academics into consideration. I think only Texas would be on par out of that bunch with what they're looking for. Also think there's about a 7% chance the B12 survives after all and we welcome two new victims to the Texas harem. |

Scott is saying this AFTER being rejected by Texas. That's obvious. |

Just rewatching that - he was not in. |
Is Tim Cowlishaw (Dallas Morning News) a Mizzou grad?
He just made a reference on ATH "about his money going to Missouri - I don't want the Pi Phi's to have to watch a bunch of Conference USA games. Get your act together, Tigers." |

I think I may have gotten off track somewhere. Whatever happened to NU and MU having until tomorrow to decided whether or not they're committing to the Big 12 or not? CU is already gone. NU appears to be. Everyone's talking to everybody else. Was that just for NU and MU, or did everyone have to commit by then? Is that deadline still there?

Well, this could certainly alter things as we "know" it.......
Study: Separating BU From Texas, A&M, Tech Will Cost Waco Millions A study released Thursday concludes that separating Baylor from the other three Texas universities that are now part of the Big 12 Conference will cost Waco nearly $200 million in annual spending and nearly 1,700 jobs. WACO (June 10, 2010)—A report released Thursday by economist Ray Perryman concludes that if the Big 12 Conference breaks up and Baylor is separated from Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech, Waco will lose an estimated $196.7 million in annual total spending, $106.4 million in annual output and 1,677 jobs. The report estimates the cost of the break-up to Texas at $714 million in annual spending, nearly $371.8 million in annual output and 5,764 jobs. Perryman predicts losses from home-game spending, major conference games, media contracts and visitor spending would result from the separation of Baylor from the other three universities. “The presence of four schools in a premier conference is important to Texas’ ability to capitalize on the potential economic stimulus of college athletics,” Perryman concludes. http://www.kwtx.com/home/headlines/96090544.html |

Why would the Big 10 ever want Kansas? They don't bring any money to the table.

Bill Self press conference at Allen Field House at 6:30 PM today. No idea what this is about. Calming the waters?

I'll laugh if they don't invite Mizzou after all the MU homos said "KU is gonna be left out in the cold BRAH"
|
Quote:
Bwahahahaha. I'll settle on BEAST and be happy with that. KU to B10 is simply not viable financially for that conference. |
