ya, league cares.

It looked primarily like his head bounced off the turf...but yah...some clarity about sliding might be good..

In general , scrambling QB will take some more hits over their career.

I think the main force of it came cleanly from shoulder /chest driving shoulder towards turf.....I don't think there will be a fine.

You can clearly see the defender diving before Alex slides there. That is why that is not a flag. Dumbass needs to get down early. Or not, whatever.

You're an idiot. He was head hunting. You don't see our players looking for a head or chest hit on quarterbacks that leave the pocket.

if your sliding your asking for a Helmet to Helmet it was not head hunting.

That those petulant tards are back to calling themselves 'Chiefs fans' on that tenuous basis is just an extra dollop of bullshit on top of the bullshit sundae.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, please.

It's funny because you're full of shit.

I'm not relitigating the Pat's game, but Alex was the least of our problems that day. The Pats had a perfectly Andy-esque day, running all over the D early to make it clear they were unstoppable on O, and shutting it down in the 2nd half to run out the clock. Andy obliged them by orchestrating the longest 2 minute drill in history. Alex was one of the few bright spots anyone on the Chiefs' roster that day.

And besides, we're Chief's fans, we revel when the win, particularly their first playoff win in a generation. And we're morose when we lose. We're in no mood for 'I told you so's,' particularly when they're not accurate.

That's why I said 'might'....

It's much easier to say you'll put a starter back in than it is to actually take out a QB who is playing great in his place...

According to the gif or film I just saw, looks to me like the defender was trying like to hell to NOT initiate helmet to helmet, and that Smith's head just got bounced like a basketball on the turf.

I personally don't agree and I think they will review and not fine. Most of that impact was clean, body driving body to turf. Helmets clicked together but the main force was downward into the turf from a clean hit, with Alex's head taking a bad bounce

Alex had one TD it was hardly a bright spot he didn't play bad it was just business as usual and there in is the problem with smith.

That's how I see it and I doubt the league will.see it any differently....but just my 2 cents
