I honestly wanted the Bengals in over the Broncos, but I am enjoying all of the grave dancing in here. And the "Chiefs were afraid of us" stuff might be the saddest cope I've seen in all of sports fandom. What a stunning fall from relevance.

The window is shut and nailed closed. This loser franchise isn't doing shit until Burrow inevitably goes to a franchise that isn't allergic to winning. And then they'll do even less.

Yes. I saw someone say yesterday that they should trade Higgins and Chase and build through the draft...

The problem is... their draft picks have not been impactful unless they're picking in the top 5.

You don't have any end of the 1st or middle of the 1st hits like McDuffie or Karlaftis or Worthy. You don't have enough 2nd or 3rd rounders who have been better than expected like Bolton, Humphrey, Rice (they have Logan Wilson but that's really it). The team depth just isn't good enough, as a result.

Who does he have times with in the NFL? I see he was part of Pat Shurmur's staff in New York before joining the Bengals.

Would hate to see him in, say, San Diego to replace Minter if he gets a HC gig. Would love to see him in, say, Kansas City, as a defensive assistant. He seems like a Spags kind of guy and maybe there are some times with Reid through Shurmur...

I get their frustrations, but this is beyond ridiculous at this point. I don’t recall any fanbase being this entitled with so little to actually show for it.

True. Outside of Trey they don’t really have a ton of talent on defense. They let a bunch of players walk, especially Reader and Bates.
