Bunch of pussy Irish fanboys up here on CP.

Not shocked.

I'd like to see more 10-8 and 9-9 rounds awarded in MMA.

SAUTO 08-21-2016 10:22 AM

Any time someone is running around the ring watching the clock they should lose.

I like the guy. he's not a brain surgeon nor does he try to be. he's just a fighter....and one helluva tough sumbitch. he makes me laugh. I like him for just being who he is....just a fighter....and when he says he don't give a ****....he REALLY doesn't! ROFL

everybody thought he'd get beat first time around. and what does he say right after the fight....first words....

I ain't surprised mother****ers! ROFL

awesome.

That fight would have been scored properly at 48-47 either way. Round 2 was the key IMO, Conor won the 1st half, Nate the second.

Cerrone looks fantastic at 170, he just knocked out 2 guys who've never been knocked out before. I understand why he wants to fight Alvarez again but man he looks good at WW

Agreed with that scoring assessment but can see a 10-8 round in the 3rd. When you appear to be beaten so badly people a stoppage looks close a 10-8 should be awarded.

I agree, it's ONE thing boxing does well that MMA could learn from. I liked the Pride scoring too, if you beat the crap outta someone for 7.5 minutes and then they lay n pray for 7.5 minutes you should win.

Oh, FFS. Nate Diaz might be in trouble.

Under the UFC/USADA rules, the window for in-competition ends 6 hours after the fight. He won't fail a test, but Diaz was seen vaping after the fight and when the media asked him what it was, he flat-out told them it was CBD oil.

USADA is now investigating, and they don't really need a test result if he admitted to it. It doesn't really violate the spirit of the rules because its intended to keep fighters from fighting while stoned and the 6 hours is to allow a test after the fight if they didn't test right before the fight, but technically its a violation that could be up to 1 year. Hopefully he won't get the full year, and then who knows what the NSAC will do.

No one ever accused the Diaz brothers of being smart

Nah. If he was stupid enough to admit to it he deserves a year off.
