Yeah he was the QB when they were 10-7. And now they have either the best or 2nd best WR in the league.

Adams is gonna learn real quick what life is like with out Rodgers dropping dimes into perfect windows for his ass.

I mean...that's a pretty big downplay of adding two elite/very good players to a 10-7 team.

They added an elite WR to a team QBd by a mid-tier game manager sort. That's an upgrade. They also didn't fix the OL that couldn't run block at all and that had real struggles pass protecting on the interior and right side.

Chandler Jones had a whopping 0.5 sacks more than Ngakoue last year, and five of them came in one game against an extremely weak player who was summarily moved off the spot.

That's a name upgrade. In terms of actual on-field upgrade, it looks negligable to me.

People are hyping up replacing Tyreek hill with MVS and Juju meanwhile the Raiders getting a guy who had triple yards than both of them combined last year is just negligible. LMAO LMAO

You made that up.

And it's totally fair to question the potency of Adams less Rodgers. No different than questioning the potency of Hill with Tua instead of Mahomes.

QB play matters.

Yeah I'm sure he's just going to start sucking.

Meanwhile MVS also had Rodgers. And he had Adams on the other side and he caught less than 50% of the balls that went his way. Even though they were in those same "perfect windows".

I don't get why you would downplay adding a player like that to a team that won 2 less game than us last year. If we're going to have a down year, and they improve even a little bit, why wouldn't they come out with the same record as us at worst?

No I didn't make it up. There are people saying that Tyreek made this offense predictable and now that we have MVS and Juju, we'll open the offense up and be more dynamic and Mahomes will spread the ball out more and won't force the ball to him.

And yeah Carr is a downgrade from Rodgers. But hes still a really good QB. He shouldn't be compared with Tua at all.

Why you wanna talk about MVS?

He's basically DeMarcus Robinson's replacement. If we got 500 yards out of him we'd be stoked, lol.

The Raiders simply don't have a great roster. They have the worst roster in the division if we're being honest. A WR like Adams, who largely depends on precision ball placement, just isn't going to move the needle in overall wins and losses.

I'm not comparing Carr to Tua. I'm stating that there will be a drop off in QB play, which could directly lend to a drop off in WR production compared to years past.

And the people you're referencing: They're merely saying the offense will look different, and get it done differently. Which is true. No one is hyping these guys up as if they're improvements over Hill. They're simply stating that production will come from various places rather than focused on one guy.

We didn't pay MVS $10mil a year for the next two years to be DeMarcus Robinsons replacement...

And the Raiders roster is better than ours. Even still, that "worst" roster won 10 games last year. So either they do a great job of maximizing the value of their players or, they just have a good roster. So let's say Devante drops off because of QB play and has a 1000 yard season and 7 touchdowns. You're telling me that that added to what Renfrow does added to what Waller does won't make a difference?

Absolute bullshit.

King dipshit is clearly going for the offseason’s biggest moron.

There’s no other explanation at this point.

-King- 06-10-2022 02:52 PM

Oh look my biggest fan is here with another post about me. Everybody say hello.

I mean, what positions do you think we're better at them at? I say QB and oline but after that, I can't say for sure.

And like I said, they lost two games more than us last year. One team improved in the off-season. The other team is looking at a reset year. So how exactly aren't they better? Do you think we maintained that 2 game buffer this off season?

staylor26 06-10-2022 03:00 PM

You’re talking about a team that we literally blew the **** out twice last season.

The only position groups where the Raiders are better is WR and EDGE.

Everything else is a wash at best.
