I think they may be a little better than last year, but I don't think the defense was upgraded as much as needed in the secondary (still starting Jonathan Abrams, which means you're either playing him as a box safety/third safety in the nickel or unable to play 2-high), and I don't think the Chandler Jones addition is going to upgrade them much at E over Ngaukie, if any at all.

The offense has a lot of receiving talent, but the OL still has big question marks as well.

They'll be better than Denver, though.

You're placing an awful lot of stock in the addition of Chandler Jones and Davante Adams (and no other real moves).

Have you forgotten what an absolute and abject disaster McDaniels was in his last run as head coach? He showed zero redeeming qualities. His plans sucked, his overall program sucked, his player handling sucked. I don't think running back to the Belichick umbrella for another decade fixed all those issues (it didn't the first time around).
