The Chiefs have an offense unlike any other in the NFL. No team comes close to throwing the ball as much as KC. The chart below shows pass rate percentages on first and second down through the first three quarters (removing how score, down, and time influence playcalling).
The teams that put up the most points against the Niners were the Saints (48), the Rams (31), and the Falcons (29). All three of those teams rank inside the top SEVEN of most pass happy teams. https://i.imgur.com/t83M07F.png |

His point was that the actual shitty teams in the Chiefs’ division got their shit pushed in by the Chiefs. It’s questionable that either of those teams are worse than the Cardinals. Same with the Chargers. And let’s not act like 23-16 and 31-21 were fluke wins. KC controlled those games throughout the second halves and never trailed in the 4th in either one. |

But, then they pick the Chiefs to win because of Mahomes. They make it sound like we don't belong on the field with San Francisco, but then pick us to win. I can see a scenario where our defense will do something special on Sunday. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk |

Again, if that’s the case the why were the Chiefs so close to beating both the Vikings and the Packers missing their best players including Mahomes? Like I’ve said, I know you’re a Mahomes fan but your lack of respect for the rest of the team is annoying as ****. |

The Cardinals are picking eighth and played five games against teams picking in front of them in the next draft. They went 3-1-1 in those games with a negative point differential (-5). They’re shitty. |

Screw these babies. It's like when people come over to my house and the dog jumps on the couch next to them. They don't want the dog on the couch so they get all fussy about it. "The dog lives here - you don't..." **** you, Giners. Sure, it's a pack of ill-mannered and shaggy beasts that will lick their balls before licking your face, but these dogs live here and you don't. So quit whining about my dogs and go fist yours. |

Hahahaha more tough talk from a fan who doesn’t realize that the chiefs rank behind the niners in every statistical category besides QB where we are still close. Your defense is tissue paper soft just like your rib eating fans and you’re gonna get steam rolled in da bowl. Better wait another 50 years to do something cool after you pay Mahomes 40 mill a year and can’t afford the rest of your team. Niners baby 35-17 over the softeez |
Garrapolo is close to Mahomes.
ROFL Maybe when Mahomes was 6 years old. |

What has your team done, ever? You don’t get respect until you win. We have 5 rings and a 6th coming Sunday. You have a good QB. Cool. Maybe clutch Andy Reid can help him out 😂😂😂 |

So that's nice. |

Chiefs scoring defense rank : 7th 49ers scoring defense rank : 8th I just hope you're not a coward and actually show up next week after the Chiefs win that game. Lots of Titans fans talked before the AFC Championship and then didn't show afterword. I'm guessing you will be exactly the same, a coward. |
Jared Cook lit up the Niners secondary on two consecutive drives to open the game, scoring a touchdown on each. He left the game with a concussion after the second score. Kelce is going to cause lots of problems for them.

Jimmy G has basically taken the entire month of January off. By the time the Super Bowl gets here, he'll have thrown 27 pass attempts over the previous 5 weeks.
Could rust be a factor for ol' Jimmy? Mahomes threw the ball 70 times against Houston and Tennessee. :hmmm: |

Interesting NextGen stat that says the Chiefs OL has been the NFL’s best at not allowing pressure within the first 3 seconds of a play: https://twitter.com/nextgenstats/sta...870714369?s=21
Chiefs allow a pressure within the first 3 seconds only 9.3% of the time. League average was 13.7%. |

This really is a fantastic matchup. It's been said already on here, but if I were completely football agnostic, this would still be a game I'd be excited as hell to watch. Fandom notwithstanding, this is as interesting a matchup as we've seen since Packers/Steelers about a decade ago. Just a fascinating matchup. |
Mahomes is also 7-0 in his career against top 5 passing defenses — this is the stat I was trying to remember yesterday.
There’s weird ones like that going for both teams, we’ll see what holds up. |
I have this odd confidence , like when you get under a pop fly and there is no doubt you catch it, where to throw it to if needed. Like a calm, not a boastful confidence but an assured almost rote forgone conclusion of the outcome.
It's so strange from what we've felt in other big games. |

Right now...I’m not stressing. I’m sure I will be a couple of days before but the Titans game gave me more confidence in this team.

The second tweet is easy money for this offense. Mahomes has the arm to throw it, our receivers have the speed to threaten deep, and the Oline is not giving up a pressure there on a quick throw like that.

Match 3 vs empty, oddly the 49ers don't often use the same Buzz call and defend the deep over but rather play a straight forward Cover 3.

Threaten outside CB, break off a route outside the numbers.
