Yeah.

Part of why they were predicted to finish so low is because they went winless in conference last year.

Gates will get a new bigger contract. He is here for the long haul

Still crying about shit decades ago wouldn't have even been in that position had you kept your in state talent instead of hiring some clown coach

Anyone that can stop the losing will get injured, they are cursed, I would put their bad luck up against any team in existence. Oh and there isn't a single good coach that will take that job.

Maybe. He definitely wants to be that guy, just not sure he can deliver.

I love it when Mizzou fans cry.

Not if he can't seem to get a quality QB to come to Mizzou....and doesn't learn how to utilize the 4 and 5 Star players he recruited.

I will give him this...he has made winning 9 games a regular thing at Mizzou which will always get you a decent bowl game. And during his time here there have been several players go high in the draft each year, and the quality has come back.

But what this team needs to take the next step is a quality QB with talent and on field leadership skills that MU hasn't seen since the Chase Daniel or James Franklin days.

Yes really....Franklin wasn't as bad as some people like to classify him. He wasn't a great passer but he was lucky and had decent talent around him. That 2013 team he was the QB for had Marcus Murphy, Henry Josey and a young Russell Hansborough...at receiver they had 'Damian Washington Sasser, Jimmie Hunt, Marcus Lucas and Dorial Beckham-Green.

Yeah Franklin wasn't remotely bad. I'd take him over Brady Cook.

I think he's destined not to have one. He has trouble finding them and when he finally gets one they get injured.
