Nobody says the receivers aren’t any good. Quite the opposite actually. They prop up jump ball Joe. But even they can’t keep his fragile body from failing him. The Bengals are the team that gets one chance to win it all and they missed it. Sad.

Guy is the white Kadarius with how fragile he is

Guess if they don’t start 1-4 like usual and Joe actually makes it past the new year we will really have to worry about those jump balls

1. They didn’t think Burrow could throw it that far.
2. They figured he’d have been sacked by that point.

Mahomes went to two AFC Championships and won a Super Bowl by the time he was 24. Burrow had just been carried his national title by CEH, Chase, and Jefferson by that age after being forced out of Ohio State after three years because they couldn’t surround him with a top college RB and two bonafide #1 NFL caliber receivers that he needed to do anything.

Burrow is surely thinking on this pass that if Higgins just does what he normally does on these misplaced jump balls and commits his typical blatant OPI face mask then it’s a completed pass.

What’s great about that picture is Cook, who’s from Cincinnati and played for the University of Cincinnati pretty much crushed Cincinnati’s SB hopes with that play.

They’re the Buffalo Bills with one more playoff win over KC. Even then it took a KC collapse to make that happen.

They did? Interesting looking at that game as Cincy never led. But perhaps that’s the same as KC having a comfortable lead the year prior only to lose in overtime. So once again the Bengals are the Bills with one more playoff win over KC which in the grand scheme of things meant nothing.

Yeah, you're probably right. Beating KC to go to the super bowl means nothing. With Burrow under center we beat you 75% of the time anyway. Ho hum. I just hope you guys are in the way this year so we can send you home again. Certainly can't trust any other NFL team to do it.

Burrow is 1-3 against Baker Mayfield. So Baker > Burrow.

That Burrows career defining accomplishment is his record against Mahomes should inform you who the better qb is.

KC cares as much about those regular season wins as Buffalo’s. I remember when Alex blew out Brady twice in the regular season.

Now that Mahomes has a defense, do you think Cincinnati will ever win another matchup?

Not saying that beating KC to go to the SB is nothing, just that it was as much a product of KC collapsing than anything Cincy did. Even then the game still went to OT. Plus Cincy lost the SB, so despite beating KC, they did not hoist a Lombardi. So the Bengals with Burrow under center are 1-1 in the playoffs. At least they are 2-0 in the regular season against KC. Much like Buffalo, Cincinnati fans can hang their hats on those wins. Perhaps they can even make a banner to commemorate those regular season wins. Either way KC will continue to lower SB Champions banners.

Burrow < Alex Smith in the postseason and < Jake Browning in the regular season.

BURROWHEAD: Bengals talking a lot of sh1ttttt

Burrow with more 4th quarter INTs in the post season than fourth quarter passing TDs in the post season. But I’ve been told he’s so cool under pressure!

Must suck for the Bengals fans to know that the number one overall pick in Burrow has proven to be a downgrade compared to Mr Irrelevant Purdy in post season play.

Shit talking works A LOT better when the team you are shit talking isn’t coming off back to back Super Bowls. But hey, if you want to thump your chest over beating the Chiefs during the regular season, then by all means, thump away. I’ll wipe my tears over that with the 3 SB Championships from the last 5 years.

Did I read that correctly....Bengals have 3 road playoff wins, total, in their franchise history?

Gravedigger 02-26-2024 09:02 AM

It's all the more frustrating how we let that game get away from us in the second half and became unable to score. If we had, we might be 4 out of the last 5 Super Bowls, Patrick's legacy continues to grow, won a Super Bowl in the Chargers home stadium, and this whole foolishness with the Bengals pretending they're a real team would've likely never occurred.

If i'm being honest, it looks kinda ghey when he does it. NTTAWWT.

KC cares as much about those regular season wins as Buffalo’s. I remember when Alex blew out Brady twice in the regular season.

Now that Mahomes has a defense, do you think Cincinnati will ever win another matchup?

The Bengals are 1-1 against the Chiefs in the AFCCG. Fifty percent. There's a good chance that goes to 66% after this year.

That's where i stopped reading.

Could somebody explain again how DixLix got the hook, but this window licker is still here?

Typical use of a statistic to mislead. You say you're 1-1 against the Chiefs in the AFCCG, but it overlooks the greater truth that the Chiefs have been in the AFCCG every year for the past 6 years and the Bengals have only shown up in the game twice. Furthermore, in those 6 AFCCG game appearances we've gone on to win the Super Bowl 3 times. The Bengals have gone on to win the Super Bowl 0 times in their 2 AFCCG appearances. So, in the last 6 years the Chiefs have won 50% of the Super Bowls and the Bengals have won 0% of the Super Bowls. You can tout your "success" against the Chiefs, but it's not as if you really have anything to show for that "success" while the Chiefs have much more and much better hardware for their efforts.
