COMON TAVERAS!

Marcellus 10-16-2014 08:57 PM

LMAO now we are removing our defensive replacement for OT less than an inning later.

BigRedChief 10-16-2014 08:57 PM

Love this move. Put your .500 pinch hitter in here. Let him bat against the lefty.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2014 08:57 PM

A walk is ok here, Oscar.

OT can break this game open. We are on the road. Win or go home. Play for the win.

OT is a good move but putting in Bourjos earlier was just dumb, we gained not a damn thing.

I like this match up. Affeldt is nails.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2014 09:00 PM

I ****ing hate Affeldt. That is all.

Good!

OnTheWarpath15 10-16-2014 09:01 PM

So now both of our power bats are out of the game with nothing to show for it - and blew our defensive substitution.

Fan-****ing-tastic.

****.

Mav 10-16-2014 09:01 PM

**** YES!

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2014 09:01 PM

Of course. We've never, ever hit that mother****er.

I am so glad Matheny went to OT. if he had stayed with borjos, cassila walks in the run.

George Liquor 10-16-2014 09:03 PM

I'd like to say that I have faith... but I don't.

O.city 10-16-2014 09:03 PM

Had to play for the run therr. Can't fault the moves I guess

I still like the move. You can't play it safe on the road against these guys. He's hitting .500 as a pinch hitter. This is your chance.

O.city 10-16-2014 09:04 PM

That was his bullet and he fired it

BigRedChief 10-16-2014 09:05 PM

Taveras in RF at San Fran? this will be an adventure.

The only reason I have a little left is the fact that this team shouldn't even have gotten this far. A pretty average team in G5 of the NLCS with smoke and ****ing mirrors.

No reason they can't pull another rabbit out of their hat.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2014 09:05 PM

Taveras should be in left, not right.

Shouldn't even throw another changeup. Fastballs and curves only. The change just ****ed you.

I'll go to my grave wondering how a guy who weighs 3-bills-plus plays Major League Baseball, and does so at an elite level.

Yep stick with the 98mph fastball and curve.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2014 09:08 PM

Bourjos never walks. OT vs. Affeldt is still the better play.

Agreed. You have to give your .500 hitter a chance to hit with bases loaded.

Martinez is the better play than an unknown Wacha.

tk13 10-16-2014 09:10 PM

Tough call to put your season in the hands of a guy who hasn't pitched in 3 weeks, in a 9th inning situation.

You just knew it was coming

royals are gonna be in for a battle.. giants are just monsters in the post season

Swanman 10-16-2014 09:15 PM

Fitting end. Matheny puts the worst guy other than Choate in that situation and a useless hunk of shit hits a three run dong.

Unfortunately we get more of Mathenys stupid ass for the foreseeable future

Explain.

I'd rather have the Giants than the Cards.

'Hamas' Jenkins 10-16-2014 09:16 PM

Hasn't thrown a pitch in three weeks and brings him in a tied elimination game in the bottom of the 9th with his best setup man, closer, DP specialist, and LOOGY all available.

I hate to say I told you so, but I said that Matheny would cost this team a playoff series. He finally did.

O.city 10-16-2014 09:16 PM

It didn't matter who we'd have thrown out there. We were toast

Did the ball diving off the deflected glove of the 3B right into the glove of the SS in the top of the 9th not convince you that the Giants shit horseshoes and eat four leaf clovers?

But wouldn't use Wacha where he should have yesterday in the 4th inning.

He almost always makes the wrong move. But Moe won't do a thing other than try to trade a couple of his pets each season.

kcxiv 10-16-2014 09:18 PM

Appreciated, but not with Matheny.

The worst part about it all is that I'm not even surprised. He is literally capable of doing something that stupid and not surprising me.

kcpasco 10-16-2014 09:19 PM

Wacha was suppose to be the long relief incase the starter did not have it or if you ran out of pitchers. Why did he replace Neshek ' s 8th inning spot with him?

Thats okay as long as you put your best players out there to make the plays or in this case the pitches.

Its a win or go home situation. How do you not put your best possible option on the mound?

That shit happens, when you all got to Kershaw in the 2nd game he pitched both hits went off our infielders gloves prior to the home run. ****ing inches and its all different. Baseball.
