I'm not sure that's true anymore. I think guys like Moustakas, Hosmer, and Cain are household names after the postseason they had last year.

Here is a chart I put together of our net wins. You can see why I said this was a breakout game. We broke through the +9 level which had been acting as resistance. Additionally our support level moved up to +8 games over .500. Meaning in the near future we shouldn't break down below +8 and if we do then we are most likely heading for a losing streak.

But the momentum is obviously to the up side. Since +9 had been tested 3 times and now we finally broke through it, it should signal a stronger winning streak. At least that is the stock market\technical analysis take on the matter.

I can't be the only who feels like this is pure bullshit.

Based on what? That you don't understand technical analysis? You can call it bullshit but at least have some logic behind your accusation other than you just don't get it...

Just got back from the game. Wanted to see us get 20 hits but understand why we took the foot off the gas a little. Getting some of our starters some rest against a good team is important...and a gift really. That 6th inning was a doozy. Had to piss, we had 2 outs and I was waiting to go make a quick exit for the men's room mid inning but we just kept hitting and scoring in guys from 2nd, bout pissed my pants.

Chris Young pitched great...looked to have control all night he was pitching a lot of strikes. Didn't seem like he pitched that much when Ned yanked him but I think he was up at 91 pitches when he left. Good contact pitcher that lets the defense work, and when you have the best defense in baseball good things will usually happen. Other than the mishap in right center the defense played great. It looked like Cain had it (it was a hard catch to make, but nothing Cain probably couldn't handle) but neither outfielder called the other one off. It happens, can't remember if that play lead to their 1 run or not but either way at least it wasn't a bigger problem than it was.

Morales hit into the shift multiple times again tonight. He needs to hit it to the other side of the field, teams are playing his pull all night long. He did hit it the other way in that 6th inning and I think had another hit after that. Maybe I'm looking for something to bitch about considering we played great tonight, it's just frustrating as hell to watch it happen.

Moose and Cain played like All-Stars tonight. Having a good hitting Moose and Hosmer is absolutely huge for this team. They need these guys to have breakout seasons if they're going to win the division.

I didn't like the pitching matchup tonight. But we came away w/ a dominant win once we started hitting Pineda. He only had 1 strikeout and let up 5 ER and we gave the bastard his first loss of the season. ESPN baseball tonight sucking NYY bullpen's cock on Thurs. One of there on set guys said Royals are still best 'pen in baseball but they were sucking the NYY cock w/ putting their BP stats on the screen, spewing all of their overrated crap. We murdered their 'pen tonight. Morales was great as the long reliever as well.

Beautiful night...thought it was gonna rain but it didn't. Great breeze whippin' through the stadium esp in that upper concourse area. Great Fireworks, great BJ in the car on the way home. Great night overall.

If anything, the pattern from your graph suggests that we will lose tomorrow.

The Royals have been on a very steady climb since beginning the season 7-0, as evidenced by your graph. I don't get how you can look at that and determine that a large winning streak is looming just because we broke past +9, or whatever.

You're trying to outsmart yourself.

Certainly more than they were this time last year... but we were just talking about starters and getting voted in. Hosmer's gonna have a tough time beating Cabrera. Moose deserves it right now but Machado and Donaldson will probably get a ton of votes.

I think Perez is probably our best shot. Maybe an outfielder too. Although Trout will make it, probably Adam Jones too. Maybe I'm underestimating it. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

You're a dipshit that obviously knows dick about technical analysis....you don't have to tell me you don't get it, I can see that plainly.

You're trying to comment on something you don't understand. I never said we wouldn't lose nor did I say we would lose tomorrow. If you'd like to take your head out of your ass and quit being an arrogant prick I would be more than happy to explain the concepts to you.

Or you can just continue being a dill hole, your choice.

Trout will get the start over Cain. Wouldn't be surprised to see someone get the start over Gordon, never mind hi being the best in the league in LF, but I can see both Cain and Gordon going. Esky probably should be starting at SS cause he is just plain sick. Miggy will definitely get it over Hos.

All in all I think we have 1 clear starter in Perez and 5-6 potential others in Hos, Gordon, Cain, Esky, Moose, Davis and Holland

Hello, dumb****. Look at your post again. You said breaking past +9 should signal "a strong winning streak".

But, the exact same scenario of a perceived barrier occurred for the Royals at +8, which is plain to see on your your dumbass graph. The Royals had 3 chances to break past +8 before they finally got to +9 on their 4th chance. When they finally broke past +8 they turned around and lost 2 in a row.

But, somehow breaking past +9 on their fourth chance tonight signals a strong winning streak.

Your graph was ****ing dumb, said nothing, and you didn't even know how to interpret it.

petegz28 05-15-2015 11:57 PM

The entire AL Central won tonight with Detroit and KC arguably having the toughest games.

The only thing that is dumb is you and your continued display of ignorance on something you clearly have no ****ing clue of which you speak. Do you even know what technical analysis is? Don't answer, that was rhetorical. You clearly have no ****ing idea, whatsoever.

I offered to explain the concepts and theories to you and instead you chose to continue to spew your jizz flavored breath all over your screen instead of taking the opportunity to learn something.

So have an antifreeze cocktail on me ...

The three OF spots are just outfielders, they don't divide them up by position. Cain, Trout and Adam Jones all play CF and could start if they're voted in. With Ned managing we'll get plenty of guys on the bench, but I'd like to see someone voted in too.
