Superlative trolling.

Yeah I'm a clown for getting pissed people were joking and making light and degrading people outraged about a terrible situation involving a disabled child. Ok. So be it. I'm proud that I'm that way.

in other words go **** yourself

Does he snore? Our beagle snores up a storm in the middle of the night. Could be that she's a touch overweight.

He is playing out of position. If they asked Eric Berry to play OLB his rookie year he'd have probably sucked too. Then every body would have declared Berry a bust and he'd be playing for the ravens right now. Chiefs fans aren't the brightest.

Switching to RT doesn't happen overnight. That's like saying a first baseman should be able to play third base right away.

Would you think it was smart to sign Derek Jeter to a massive deal and then move him to first base?

No, right?

If they drafted Eric Fisher to play left tackle, then move Albert to guard, trade him for whatever you can get, or move him to the right side.

If Albert is only here for one year (and it seems that's probably the case) then why give him the luxury of manning the position you just spent the top pick in the draft to play?

Either way, it's poor resource management.

If you truly think that the positional differences in regards to techniques, responsibilities (in regards to coverage, support, and fronts to be brief) are less extensive for a SS from a Tampa 2 based 4-3 under system switching to a 2-gap based, 3-4 OLB (you didn't even specify as to whether Berry would be playing the "elephant" or SAM ala Houston) than that of a LT to a RT, then I don't know what to tell you.

Most people would, like myself state that there is a learning curve and repetitions required for Fisher and that immediate, high level productions are unrealistic. However, for you to think that that position change is greater than that of Berry switching to a 3-4 OLB is absolutely laughable.

I'm also still waiting for your post that demonstrates how the AirRaid is a complete "gimmick offense".

I agree. Move Albert to guard, I don't care how he feels about it, and keep drafting OL until we're the envy of every team in the league.

All I can say is, if Smith struggles this year you can't discount the fact Albert has one foot out the door and Fisher is learning on the job.

All the offensive linemen that Reid picked or had a hand in picking with the Eagles.

That's a lot of fatties he's drafted, and a pretty terrible return rate for being such an offensive line guru. Yes, most of them are late round fliers, but if you just know the position like Reid does, shouldn't some of those guys wind up being starters in this league? Especially when you go through 14 years of this process, and in most of those draft classes you select multiple OL?

I'll give him credit for being better at drafting offensive linemen than the Chiefs have been at drafting defensive linemen, though.

Fisher really needs to show some progress this week. He looked pretty good against the Saints, but he was man-handled in the 9ers game.

BossChief 08-21-2013 08:13 PM

You know how this pick will end up being thought of as a good pick?

1) Alberts back proves to be ****ed and he doesnt make it through the season because of it
2) Eric Winston has injury issues that cause him to retire early
3)Every single quarterback from thus draft class absolutely sucks and are ALL worse that'll what Alex Smith gives us
4) Eric Fisher becomes an all pro (don't care which side this happens on)

All of those happen and the pick was the right one, otherwise it was nothing but poor usage of limited resources.

Christ, that list. I wonder what the hell the Eagles did for starting offensive linemen in those 14 years.

Like, 3 of those guys started more than 4 years for that team. That's pretty embarrassing. I think Herremens is the only guys who's still there.

I would think Albert wants to play for a payday.
