Toney is just Percy Harvin 2.0. I’d take the chance on Percy Harvin. But he’s listed as a 4.69 combine time wtf?

Who are we trading for tomorrow?

April 23rd - Traded for Orlando Brown
April 23rd - Traded for Frank Clark

Hard sell.

I think the injuries are my bigger concern. Re the attitude, obviously it's somewhat of a gamble. There are Damon Arnette types that really seem unlikely to turn it around. But equally these are young guys and some take a little time to mature and realise they don't get endless shots at it. Maybe that's Toney.

Frankly, imo he's a R1 talent and getting him for 4th would be absolutely worth it. There is noone in this draft I think we're getting at that position with even half the talent. 3rd? I'm a little less thrilled but it's still potentially a steal.

Ok, yes I agree with this sentiment. Young guys out of college shouldn't be expected to be fully professional adults. I do think he's worth bringing in for a 4th, but I honestly wouldn't expect much from him a la Josh Gordon. We have a tough playbook, a competitive roster, and KC isn't the most glamorous place for an up & coming rap star lol

Interesting article about Toney here: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...ing/ar-AAWvNLc

Honestly, sounds like he's a pretty good kid just maybe a little uncomfortable in his new surroundings. Seems like maybe he's a little depressed in NY, or doesn't feel like he fits in with the team or whatever. He's young, just needs some encouragement, someone to talk him up a little and he'll get his confidence back with some success.

Also sounds like NY is going to keep him.

Ooooooh. I like. Hopefully someone that isn’t as utterly worthless as Frank Clark and is more on par with the upside of Orlando Brown :)

That is really interesting though.

With JuJu and MVS already in the bag, I think the next WR we go after will be in the Draft. If anything, I could see us possibly addressing RT or maybe CB prior to Thursday’s events. I think it would take a shit ton of Draft capital to trade for a difference maker at Edge.

I thought so too, but this would allow us to spend both firsts on edge/DT/Safety without having to take a WR early. Then In the 2nd or 3rd grab a WR: It was just a thought…

As it stands today, I don’t think they would take a WR until the 2nd Round. I believe that’s where the value picks will be for WR, and we aren’t desperate at this point to reach for anyone in the late 1st round. Of course, all this depends on how the Board shakes out, but I see DE & DB as the 1st 2 picks.

My current thinking has the Chiefs trading both 2nd round picks for a WR to move up to one of the 1st 5 picks in the 2nd round. So, maybe we trade 50,62 & 103 to DET for 34 and 66?

I am all on board for this. One slight amendment; I don’t value DB that high unless is a game changing safety to pair with thorn hill. I’d much rather grab either a DT or double up on edge.

3rd pick is a WR whether we trade back up or use one of the 2nds.

If you look at some of the most talented wideouts the game has seen many were called "locker room cancer" too. Here is a list.

Criss Carter= was called a "diva" when he first went to Philly and was kicked out over drug problems. Went to the Vikings and had a hall of fame career.

Randy Moss= traded to the Raiders after getting "too big for his boots" in Minnesota..had a rough spell with the Raiders and got kicked out again to the Pats for a late round pick and then he goes bonkers with Brady.

Terrell Owens= Was shipped from team to team because of his attitude but no-one can deny he delivered on the field almost everywhere he went and helped Philly to reach a superbowl.

Odell Beckham= problems in New York and Cleveland..called a "diva" and "cancer" but then goes to the Rams and helps them win a superbowl.

Other guys I could mention are Stephon Diggs and Deandre Hopkins..both shipped out after their teams felt they were a "distraction".

Imo Toney is worth taking a gamble on considering his contract, age and potential. You look at some of his highlights you see glimpses of Tyreek at times. So I would support making a move if Veach and Andy does it.

Rae Carrtuth= murdered his pregnant stripper girlfriend.

And depending on theirs could be a big deal.

I’d definitely make the call and set up some conditional conversations.

Giants might be in the market for QB competition for Danny Dimes.
