Players change, but Self teams, which routinely get to the EE, always, always plays tight like this. Self is deserving of his place in the HOF, but he should have many more FF appearances on his resume.

This teams ceiling was anywhere between the rd32 and the EE.

We make it to the FF is will be one of the best coaching jobs ever. This team isn’t this good. And we struggle every freaking game we play.

The last Self team to play an E8 game played a tremendous game (2018 vs. Duke-Devonte, Svi, Malik, Udoka). It just depends on the personnel they have, has nothing to do with Self.

Some guys just have it in them to play well in big moments and some don't.

We are lucky as poorly as we have played we're only down by 6. With them having a belief they're going to win we have to play the best half of basketball this year now.
