Minn will have an issue when McCarthy is ready next year. Sounds like they want both on the team.

I'd keep Darnold for at least another season, maybe two. Give him a similar deal to what Baker/Geno got (3yrs/$90-$100M).

McCarthy on a rookie contract… Minnesota can afford to resign Darnold to a short term deal/franchise tag to see if he’s more than a one year wonder.

That's the same hold they called on Taylor against Watt. I'd like to see holding be a 5 yard penalty only because it's so arbitrary and unfairly kills drives so often.
