Good ending for the show. Cleaned things up. Can go in multiple directions for a spinoffs if Sheridan wants to keep making money.

Hated it. They have killed a ton of people and got away with it. Beth is every woman's dream life. Kill a man she hates, be drunk her whole life, talk and treat anyone however she wants, be a total slut and have the man she loves not care. It's reduculous. Jamie is never found and cops don't even ask a question. It's totally stupid.

I am a very happy person. But I don't think shows should try and spin killers into the heroes. This show does that. The Duttons are shit and RIP is a mass murderer. John is a loser. He got himself killed and lost the land. 141 years and he lost it. Effing arrogant idiot.

I thought they landed the plane alright. They'd written themselves into a few corners here and there but by and large did about as well as could be expected in such a sprawling environment that can't really HAVE an ending.

I'm like 20 minutes from the end of this epic adventure, and Sheridan is closing with Lainey Wilson shaking her ass instead of something substantial

I couldn't believe what I was watching. Unbelievably bad, and who cares about that guy anyway? I had already forgotten he existed by the time the lame music video started.

Also, no manhunt for a missing attorney general? They just accept Beth's story at face value? That's some "ABC After School Special" bullshit.

If you took it this far and NOW is when you're unwilling to suspend disbelief, I just don't know what to tell ya.

Of course the show is about as realistic as Star Wars, but for most of the series the writing wasn't lazy.

I mean it was pretty lazy.

Can you imagine the national news cycle if there were just random gunfights on the streets of small town Montana, bombs going off all over the place and the amount of casual murder we've seen in this show?

This isn't any more/less wild than anything that this show has seen from the first episode forward. Reality has never been its strong suit.

Don’t like that they didn’t conclude Lloyd’s character. Also bizarre that Teeter was assigned to a horse named “Man Killer” like a month after her boyfriend was killed by a horse.

The finale was fine. Not bad. Sure as hell not Breaking Bad finale amazing, but fine.

Felt like they kinda did, though.

I mean he essentially retired, no? I suspect he'll show up on occasion in the spin-off but I got the impression that he just saw this as the right time to hang 'em up.

It was either that or work for Rip. What the hell else is an old Cowboy who's just worked that single ranch his entire adult life going to do? He's not going to go down to Texas. He's not going to come on as an new hand in some ranch in Montana and start over.

And when the offer was there to work for Rip and he didn't want to do so, that made it pretty clear that he was just ready to retire.

I didn't think it was that ambiguous really.

Seems like the tribe could've given the Duttons more than just one house and a few acres of land after all they've been through together... thats just shitty writing IMO

Not sure I'm gonna be able to give a damn about the Beth/Rip spinoff after watching this show go out with a whimper
